Very awful experience, rude and arrogant attitude, bad taste. All BBQs were overcooked and tasted bad🤮. Wait time is super long and it is the worst Korean food I ever had. They required a 20% service fee and provided us only with ignorance and terrible food.
Reply to the owner's response: Your reply is astonishingly misleading and dismissive of our legitimate concerns. Let's break this down. When we arrived, we politely asked if there was room for a party of ten and wait for your arrangements. No one mentioned any difficulty with accommodating us, nor suggested that seating together might cause discomfort. Instead, we were met with cold and unwelcoming attitudes from the start. If handling a large party was so inconvenient, why not simply say so upfront, instead of silently treating us with contempt?
Throughout our dining experience, your staff barely interacted with us, except to drop off the dishes, for the first dish we waited over 30 minutes for—only to find them overcooked, inedible and bitter. When we raised our concerns about the burnt BBQ, no one took responsibility. Not a single apology or explanation was offered. Is this how customer service works in your restaurant?
We waited another 30 minutes, and despite asking for an explanation, your staff ignored us. It’s not unreasonable to expect at least a partial refund for the dishes that were clearly poorly prepared. Yet, in your response, you paint us as demanding and unreasonable customers—something we find deeply insulting. If serving walk-in guests or large groups is such an issue for you, it should be made clear at the door. Pretending now that you bent over backwards to accommodate us is dishonest.
And let’s be clear: this is not about "cultural differences." It’s about basic customer service and respect—something that was blatantly missing. Your dismissive response and attempt to shift blame onto us reflect a pattern of poor treatment that other reviews have also pointed out.
If this is the way you treat guests in a tourist-heavy area—thinking they won’t return—then I am happy to warn future customers, go to check the 1-star comments here and will find their bad service attitude is not a rare case. For those familiar with real Korean food and who expect a pleasant dining experience, I do not recommend...
Read moreI was excited about finally getting my Korean food fix! Pros: The shrimp skewer was delicious and perfectly cooked
The potsticker dipping sauce was tasty as were the veggie potstickers.
The Bulgogi beef I got with my Bibimbap was flavorful despite having a slight grittyness to it.
The sauce for the Bibimbap was so good I could have drank it!!!! 🤤 And the fried egg added an awesome touch. And the amount of veggies you get along with portion size was great!
Cons: I was excited to get kimbap and thought I was getting a triangle shaped cut roll but it was a folded pouch which was difficult for me to eat.
The purple rice, though having good flavor, seemed slightly overcooked and mushy
The spicy tuna....of the very few cons, this one hurt me. I expected raw fresh tuna but I'm certain it was canned and after a bite I didn't finish the rest of it.
Overall I enjoyed the unique flavors and the light variety of foods without the overload of too many choices. I'm happy that forbidden rice is served here and that bibimbap sauce was too good!! Bottle that and sell it!!! I'll take a case! The staff was super friendly and engaging and I highly recommend anyone to try these folks out! There are many different delicious flavors on this menu that customers will find very appetizing 😋
I will definitely...
Read moreTo say this was the most bland and boring Korean food I've ever had would not be an understatement. Firstly, we had to wait way ages to have our order taken, and there was only one other table in the restaurant! The waiter only gave us one water glass when there were two of us. The water jug just sits on the table at room temperature, seemingly left over from the last customer. The chicken on our bibimbap dish was sooooo dry and tasteless. The egg that was meant to be a runny fried egg was overcooked and dry. The dish came with two half filled tiny tins of sauces and we had to ask for more and put on 2 times as much to give the dish any flavor. They had literally 2 sauces to pick from, soy sauce and gochujang. Paying $5 for this bowl of bland rice, naked lettuce, over cooked egg and raw veggies maybe would have made it ok, but it was $22! We did like the miso soup (which the waiter forgot to bring us and we had to ask for). We thought we could redeem the meal experience with a matcha boba drink at the end, how could that get messed up?? we were wrong there! The drink had WAYYYYY too much matcha in it, it felt like we were drinking straight matcha powder and there was no sweetener to be had to put in it. It was terrible all around. Total disappointment. I would never go back there or recommend...
