Trudy's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Jersey Village

This location has very rude and disrespectful employees. There have been 2 occasions where myself and another person were harassed by multiple workers. Today on June 16th, I came in and experienced very racist behavior. Ria, an older white woman with a pixie cut, is the manager that followed us around the whole time we were shopping. She then preceded to try to take our items to the register and hold them there because she said it was "policy" to. She didn't do this to any other customers but us. She then physically snatched the items out of our hands forcefully and when I was holding onto my items in disbelief, she continued to try to forcefully pull the things out of my hand. I asked her what was the reason for her behavior and she said it was because "she was upset." This is completely unacceptable behavior that is coming from a MANAGER. We are TRAUMATIZED by this HARASSMENT and will NOT EVER be coming back to this location. There have been too many employees here who are blatantly disrespectful. Whoever is doing the hiring needs to carefully re-examine what kind of employees they are choosing to...

I went to go see all the holiday ornaments decorations, as today was my only day off...and one worker came up to me and snatched from my hands 2 ornaments. Reason being it was only for members sale. She told me I couldn't purchase the ornaments because they were exclusive for members. I've never heard of anything like this before. Being it was my first time coming to Hallmark. She would have been nicer and asked if I wanted to get the membership to the least...but I felt like she just didn't want me to purchase anything in the store. I thought it was rude and I'm definitely not coming here again. Don't come here if you don't want to be treated like this. Will not be recommending this...

One of my favorite stores ! I didn’t know was one close to me . I was looking for a little gift for a friend for her retirement and I didn’t know where to go until I saw the hallmark store ❤️ I was so excited and never get disappointed because I find exactly what I was looking for it . They have very unique gifts and designs here and it can be pricey but is worth it .
