KONINGSDAM - Alaska Cruise HONEST REVIEW We did not buy due to the high sales prices + Canadian Conversion (1.40 to USD) and we where on a budget. They are REALLY PUSHY on getting you to buy. Always asking where you from and what would you be willing to pay and trying to work with you there. All their presentations/ events was geared towards SELLING YOU THIER PRODUCT and becoming "Effy Family". I do have to say the pieces are really pretty and the designs are gorgeous. But, I have never heard of this brand until getting on a cruise for the first time in my life. And they advertise HARD! Giving you a complimentary free charm ( the first one in the cabin with the necklace that was not silver. We checked it with a magnet) just to get you into the store. We really only came for the freebies and chance of winning whatever was happening. The Port Brand Ambassador Christie was honestly really really lovely and the girl Sasha which was also really nice. But, all pushy at some point, yes it's a sales job... and if you're only there for the free charms they really didn't care about you.. I wanted to do some research before my guy bought me anything making an informed purchase. When on land getting our data back, I looked for HONEST REVIEWS on YouTube (surprising only like 2-3 honest ones) , reading Reddit, it didn't seem like a good idea. Likes of breaking, gems falling out and bad customer service when that happens, and long wait times to get your experience purchase back. The store in Juneau was pretty much the same, but all indian workers and blasting Indian music. It didn't really give the same high-end new york image they presented on the boat. I'm love the Free Charms they gave out (probably worth not much though) but that's my FREE Cruise jewelery to COMMEMORATE the memories. Don't worry I didn't pull a Rose and drop it. IYKYK.
PS. Many of the positive reviews here on Google are bots with AI pictures or employees.
Final words BE SMART. Have a BUDGET ,stick with it. DONT be PUERSUADE. Give it some THOUGHT and LOOK FOR RED FLAGS. DONT BE SCAMMED

Read moreI entered Juneau's Effy on June 27th to redeem my coupon for a free "glacier blue pendant" that my ship's "shopping advisor" highly advertised. Upon entering, I was not given my free gift, though I asked several times. It was sharks after blood from here on. It was obvious that this "gift" was only utilized to draw me in to the store so that the sales staff could harass me. I was pressured into looking at jewelry cases and repeatedly told I should and needed to buy today. They would not take "no" for an answer and the more I refused, the more they pressed. To put it kindly, the entire store experience was torturous, it left a bad taste in my mouth, and the saleswoman could've benefited from some good 'ole fashioned deodorant. I simply wanted my free pendant, which in fact looks nothing like the advertisement, NOT to waste half an...
Read moreI realize this store is under no obligation to give a free gift, so the 3rd star is for effort. However, we received a note in our state room that because my step daughters birthday was in June, she could stop by for a free gift AND 200 store credit. Well the store credit was only Good on a minimum 600 purchase. Also the free gift was a $10 glass stone necklace not even the color of her birth stone. She put it on to walk back to the ship. The stone fell out on the walk. I realize it was free, but if you're going to give a birthday gift just give 10 in store credit no minimum purchase. Not a piece of glass...
