Frost + Fur — Local services in Juneau

Amidst a sea of mass-produced tacky tourist gear and cheesy knick knack shops in downtown Juneau, Frost + Fur does things differently. Their designs are original, eye-catching, cute, and creative. AND they screenprint using water-based inks! This means no crinkly, crunchy screen-printed designs after a few washes, but their goods get softer with each wear. While searching downtown Juneau for something nice to bring home with me, I am so pleased that I stumbled upon Frost + Fur. I snagged a beautifully printed Rainbow Salmonberries canvas tote, the matching Salmonberry 5-panel hat, and a slew of Salmonberry stickers. Their selection of curated goods to match their house-printed clothes and gear was totally darling. I could have easily spent an hour in here just browsing. Also, I had the pleasure of chatting with the kind gentleman working the checkout desk and really enjoyed our brief conversation. Frost + Fur is a breath of fresh air amidst hectic downtown tourist shops and low-quality souvenirs. I anticipate using my tote and hat from this cute brand for years to come, as well as keeping up to date with their new designs...

This is a GREAT little shop in Juneau! The wife creates all of the designs. She is very talented. The husband is very sweet and helped us out. The bold but simple designs are placed on a variety of premium fabrics and other items like tea towels and even baby and toddler items. The youth hats were sooo adorable that it almost made me what to have another kid just so I could own one or two or three of them. LOL. I wanted one of all of everythng! I ended up with the Women's Ermine Crop Hoodie and worn it home. It felt like home wearing it! (Just like their shop made me feel) So soft and I can not stop looking at the design and want to just live in it. I will be purchasing more items in the future from their site. I wish all the best for these guys and hope for a long and prosperous future in your little shop in Juneau!! If you ever visit there please look them up and give them back some of the love they are...

I recommend Frost + Fir in Juneau to people! I’m a local and shopped there last week. I learned the shop is owned by a local couple, young family. I’m an artist and love the designs, they are unique and beautiful and the wife creates them herself! Everything in there was affordable, they had Juneau Alaska hoodies, baby items, art, stuff for the whole family ❤️ I don’t know this couple personally I just believe in supporting small business and artists and families 💕 They’re also located downtown right by the ships on the wharf!
