I feel obligated to share my extremely disappointing experience with Juniper Vacation Rentals which has significantly disrupted our plans for an important event.

Back in September, we meticulously planned and booked a rental for an upcoming wedding event through Airbnb. Not only was our booking confirmed, but our deposit was also duly cashed, signifying a formal agreement. Fast forward to just one month before the event, during the peak of the season, we were blindsided by the news that our rental had been double-booked.

The way this situation was handled by the agent, Jim, was utterly lacking in professionalism and empathy. After acknowledging the double booking, he assured us that he would provide alternative listings. This assurance turned out to be empty as he never followed through, leaving us in a desperate scramble during a high-demand period.

Moreover, the homeowner, Eugene, showed a complete disregard for our situation. His primary focus seemed to be on the other renters, who were staying longer, rather than addressing the breach of our agreement. There was no attempt from his side to offer any form of apology or even a semblance of understanding for the inconvenience caused by this double booking.

This has not only caused significant stress but also jeopardized our participation in a very important event. My husband & I have spent every March for the last few years in Juno Beach, FL, we love the town, the vibe, and the beaches! We've rented beachfront condos for the past few years, and although we loved the view of the ocean, we hated being either above or below someone, because, unfortunately, we could hear them moving around all day & night, drove us crazy. For next March, however, we wanted to find a single family home that was very. close to the beach, and we finally found "Little Key West"!!! It's only a 2 minute walk to the beach, and the house itself is better in person than the gorgeous online pics!!!! The screened in porch was our favorite place to hang--no mosquitos!! We rented it for a few nights to see how it compared to the last few places we've rented, and we cannot wait to return for the month of March 2025! It was spotlessly clean, including the guest house, which we didn't need, but will be using when our kids & grandkids come visit us in March. The hot tub was great too!
