I always come here and the icecream is always amazing. However I just left and the male employee was very rude. He came out with an attitude. Didn’t say a word to us during the whole interaction. Was visibily annoyed and pissed off and unwelcoming. He Slammed the icecream down at us. Served it sloppy. My husband went to pay he screamed at him “wait” and gave him a death stare. He Was also rolling his eyes and breathing and huffing and puffing loudly while serving our icecream. We honestly didn’t even feel safe to stay in and eat at the establishment and left and ate by our car. This is extremely disappointing as we come here all the time and usually have good service and the icecream is always impeccable. I don't know if the employee was just having a bad day or honestly possibly on drugs/drunk from the way he was acting but you should never treat customers like this and honestly if this was our first time here and we encountered this behavior we would NEVER come back. The behavior was very passive aggressive and troubling. Extremely...
Read moreStopped by Gelato & Co. on Sunday night, and it was the perfect way to end the weekend. The weather was warm with a nice breeze, just right for enjoying some gelato.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile from Cherish, who was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind and patient, taking the time to go over the different flavors and even offering samples to help me decide. It’s always nice to be met with such great service, and she really made the experience special.
I ended up going with the pistachio and mango flavors, and they were both incredible. So smooth, creamy, and packed with flavor. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was really nice too, with a relaxed vibe that made it easy to sit and...
Read moreWe are long-time fans of Matty’s, but this place is much more elegant and better for sitting. Choices here are mostly traditional Italian flavors. Excellent WiFi. Clean bathrooms. My mom rated the mango sorbet here as “much better” than others she’s had. Strawberry sorbet was great. Coconut was very smooth and sweet (not as chewy as some “craft gelato” versions). Vanilla was perfect in texture but maybe didn’t need to have quite as much sugar (they do serve espresso and other coffee drinks here and maybe the true Italian gelato is on the sweet side because you'll have it with bitter coffee). Service was warm and friendly, though we stumbled in on their literal Day 1. Maybe they’ll get grumpy over time 😀
