Absolutely wonderful. I have found myself enjoying Thai cuisine more often these days; so naturally I've been exploring my local options. This restaurant is actually tied for first with my other favorite Thai place, located in Royal Palm Beach, Bangkok Jam.
We walked in with a party of 4 on Friday, March 23rd, after deciding not to wait forever for a table across the street at one of the restaurants at Harbourside. Boy am I glad we did. We were welcomed with smiles from the staff and were seated immediately by a friendly gentleman. Decor seemed modern and the bathrooms were clean. I overheard the table next to us leaving as they were absolutely praising their waiter and the food- I knew I was in for a treat.
Our waitress was extremely kind, caring, and attentive. Answered all the questions we had, and made sure our drinks were never below half.
THE FOOD- I have to say, the extensive menu with Japanese selections and Thai selections- along with the sushi, it has something for everyone. I had Pad Thai which my waitress and I talked about whether I should go traditional or fusion style. Fusion being a more saucy Pad Thai. I like my noodles on the drier side so I went with the traditional. Others at my table tried fusion, and they loved it. However, I don't think they loved it as much as I loved my traditional. Hands down great food. Everyone at my table agreed.
Like I said, the only place that could rival Thai Lotus would be Bangkok Jam. I'm sticking to those two anytime I feel a craving for Thai. The quality of food, service, and every detail of dining were just spot on. I will...
Read more3/21/16 9:30pm This was the singular worst restaurant I have ever experienced. Period. I walked in and asked if there was a bar that I could sit at since I was solo. The minute I sat down they stared f'ing with me. Asked if I wanted to order - even without seeing the menu. I ordered an appetizer sushi with Hamachi and Ameabi and got lectured about how long I'd have to wait for the shrimp to thaw. The Yellow Tail was tough, to say the least. Chef scored it to make it easier, meaning that he knew the yellowtail was tough. After the first course I ordered one more roll. A $12.00 roll that he whipped out in 30 seconds - it was a eel something. It was cold and flavorless. I ate about 1/3 before deciding to leave. That's when the argument ensued. I told them the same as above. They wouldn't let me pay even though I insisted to pay and tip.It got so intense that the sushi chef was throwing stuff around making clean-up noise and saying that that's what I ordered. Yes, you're right sir...but it sucked. And so did the service. And never have I had that type of incident happen in a restaurant, ever. Please know that that was only half of what I experienced. You do not have time for the rest. Perhaps they are better known for their Thai, or perhaps I should have known better than to go to a Thai restaurant that happens to...
Read moreI was out on a movie date with my daughter. We first were at the Cobb movie theater however upon entering our theater I noticed it was extremely warm so I brought it to the attention of the management and was told the unit was broken so I was refunded for my ticket purchase and we left. I then went online to find the closest theater to our locatiand and headed to Cineopolis in Jupiter. The movie we chose was not until 8:30 so I decided to grab some dinner since it would be too late to wait until after the movie. My daughter and I took a walk a few doors down from the movie theater when found this Thai restaurant and the reviews were really good so we decided to try it out. I am so so happy we did because the food and service was absolutely amazing! We had the pork gyoza pan fried for and app and then we both had the beef Yakisoba. When I tell you it was delicious I mean it was absolutely amazing and it wasn't super greasy and it had good noodles to beef ratio. They have won a loyal customer because I will definitely be back! Keep up the...
