Honest, helpful and generous, professional and KIND! This is a family owned and operated business you can TRUST! They genuinely care about their customers! I live in St George Utah. I called Barnett Heating and Cooling LLC in my home town of Kanab, to get a second opinion on my central air conditioner. A technician from a well known company here in St George gave me a $4,000.00 estimate, saying I had a bad motor and Freon was spraying everywhere, covering and damaging everything. I told the tech from the St George company I had no money. I was crying. It was over 100 degrees in my house for 3 days. The technician left asking me to call their company for financing. I called Barnett's heating and Cooling in Kanab. The father and son from Barnett's came right over to St George from Kanab. They removed the panels from my unit outside and found wires had been pulled, disabling my central air. They also found NO Freon had sprayed anywhere on the motor at all. The Barnett's then cleaned the outside filter with a professional grade cleaner, plugged the wires back in and MY AIR CONDITIONER WORKES BETTER THAN IT DID BEFORE it stopped working. It was ONLY a really, obviously dirty filter that needed a professional cleaning! Not only did The Barnett's save me $4,000.00, THEY DIDNT CHARGE ME FOR THE VISIT OR THE CLEANING! They were happy to help me! I am a senior citizen living alone in a 55+community. I could have been an easy target for the bad guys. The good guys from Barnett's Heating and Cooling in Kanab, have years of experience and expertise. They fixed a $4000+ problem for free! They are my true HEROS, they can surely be yours too!

To be upfront and honest, I don’t write to many reviews. But I know that I have too to show how much Barnett Heating and Cooling went above and beyond!! Barnett Heating and Cooling came into home not knowing anything about my AC/Heating units, well frankly either did I. I had a different HVAC company install them while I built the home. Without going into too much detail, the HVAC company that installed them didn’t setup the units correctly and I have had so many problems with them. I had another HVAC company come in and service them, but they also ran away with never fixing the problem, but they sure charged me a lot for nothing. The units never ran right and I had to call every change in the season to have them come back to find what was the problem. I was paying 400.00 + a month in heat and cooling, where they said the units are working fine. I was beyond frustrated, so I found Barnett Heating and Cooling in Kanab and to be completely transparent, I will never use anyone else. Lee and his employees came to my home at 10 pm and stayed until the heat was fixed! They crawled into my crawl space, cleaned out all the vents, diagnosed the problems and setup the units correctly the first time they where there!! The units are working perfectly now! I have sense sign up for a maintenance plan for each one of my units where they come to my home and do preventative checks and they warranty all their work. We live in a small town here in Kanab, yet we have one of the best HVAC contractors around. The bonus is that we have a business in Barnett Heating & Cooling that wraps around us like they are members of our own family. From the techs to the owners to the office they are the best. We recently set out to remodel a 65-year-old partially finished basement that was tricky to solve heating and cooling issues in. Barnett's came in with the idea of putting in a mini split system in a large bedroom to be finished as a guest room for family coming to stay with us. A perfect way to zone an occasional space without adding an expensive 6-ton unit at a cost of thousands. They were efficient and realistic, and worked hard to provide the perfect answer to our challenging situation. In the existing part of of the basement, their knowledge in airflow dynamics helped us improve an inefficient system by adding a much needed register to improve draw. They worked around our schedule with some electrical work that had to take place first, and we are now delighted with the result. We even got a 12-year instead of a typical 5- to 7-year warranty on the compressor system. Usually, we have to reach out to a larger market that will come over anywhere from 80 to 100 miles to do similar work.
