Daiso - Japanese Household Goods — Local services in Kent

Come check it out. It's a Japanese/Korean price tier store (NOT! a dollar store) small signs are posted that translates the foreign price on the products into USD's. The products are typical of what you'd find at most places similar to a dollar store but, a lot of things above a dollar. The stand out things that I've seen, would be kitchen supplies, dishes, silverware, cool storage options, stationary galore, make-up, some clothing and hella knickknacks!! Always a fun shopping experience for my family. My teenage-kids like the electronics (e.g., cell phone stands, lights), skin care & beauty products, and Japanese snacks/beverages/candy, while I gravitate towards home goods (mainly dishes), organizing containers, and gardening supplies. Kent is my hometown and we live 300+ miles away where this is no Daiso, so the store is a “novelty” to us with its unique items. Went into the store today and got treated like an idiot. I ended up buying two bags of chips and some stickers for my daughter. Man at the counter kept telling me the price of the items I was buying, like it was too expensive for me to afford. Then he said you these items are nonrefundable, like I'm about to bring back half eaten snacks! The way he was treating me seemed very belittling and prejudice. Will not be going back to this store.
