This is by far the worst Mod Pizza I have ever been to in my many years on this Earth. I go here for lunch consistently and the food quality has always been subpar. The last and final time I went I witnessed an argument between two employees concerning how all their ingredients were expired. It took nearly an hour for them to make me my pizza, and to top it off it was heavily burnt and tasted quite gross. I got food poisoning afterwards as well, which I am 100% confident occurred due to the expired pizza I was served. As a ServSafe Certified Food Safety Manager I cannot believe this place is still in business, and am actively reporting the place to every health department I can think of. The FSAC has been notified, as well as the WSDOH, who I keep in direct contact with. The dyed red hair employee was quite kind and apologetic for serving me an awful pizza. As well as the fact she didnāt seem comfortable serving it to me, which was duly noted. I appreciate that not every employee is as rotten as the food served here, although to my understanding that singular individual is the only employee on the grounds whoās ever monitored the quality of the food Iāve eaten. On the other hand, the employee with glasses and the tacky purple hat who made me my excuse for pizza paid me no mind and continued to massacre pizzas in front of me for the duration of my meal. This place is utterly awful, and they should expect multiple health code violation investigations sooner than later. As I have already received verbal confirmation that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove mod, they always have great pizza but my boyfriend and I came here this past Sunday evening and the staff was not the best. From the start several of the employees were gathered in the corner on their phones in front of the pick up counter and the girl who was on oven whose supposed to be putting the pizza in and taking them out walked away several times on her phone and even took a phone call and walked around the restaurant while on the phone with someone. We ended up asking if the pizza was close to done as it had been a while and the girl was still on her phone. It was burnt to a crisp so they had to make a new one. We took it to go at that point because I had already gotten my pizza 20+ minutes prior. When the girl finally came back from her phone call and was told she burnt the pizza she thought it was funny and just laughed about it. I understand mistakes happen but her laughing was pretty unprofessional in my opinion, she genuinely thought it was funny she burnt it. Itās pretty crazy to think management is okay with the staff just being on their phones whenever they want. Still a fan of mod but this location needs to work on customer service and the management needs to be more present/ holding their staff to a higher expectation than just ādo whateverā. (Never once saw someone in management and if I did they were doing the same...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe pizza was good, and they make it in front of you like they are making a Subway sandwich. The only downside, is they didn't seem very organized. Five employee's stood around while one of them pulled out all the pizzas and put new pizzas in the oven. And the same person distributed the pizzas to the customers. For example, four of us went to lunch together to get pizzas to-go. One employee made the first two pizzas and put them in the oven along with some pizzas that were made prior to us ordering. Then another employee made our second two pizzas, put them on the waiting table and continued to make pizzas for other customers. One employee pulled out the first batch of pizzas, added the finishing toppings and distributed them to the customers, including my two co-workers. The oven sat empty for 10 minutes while they were distributing pizzas, before the second batch of pizzas were put in the oven. If the employees worked together, they could have a little faster process. I will try it...
