Ding Tea Kent — Restaurant in Kent

I love the Ding Tea in Seattle. I understand how swamp they are but it’s definitely worth the wait. This is my first time in the Kent location and I ordered online. I waited ten minutes (again, understanding that they are swamped with orders) as others came in and put their order in at the counter. I saw those who came after me getting their orders fulfilled. I asked Jennifer what was going on with my order and she kept saying “it’s coming.” She didn’t verify my name or double check the status of my order. I waited a few more minutes and then asked again. She was pretty unresponsive and didn’t even take the time to check on my order. It wasn’t until the older gentleman who asked for my name and verified my ordered put my order ahead...mind you, at least three families who ordered at the counter received their orders. I waited a total of 20 minutes. I still love the tea, the girl at the counter was not helpful nor helped in letting me know what was up...

to whoever owns this ding tea in kent, you have to manage your staff properly. i love ding tea. it's my number 1 milk tea. but the one in kent is the worst. i came in today with my grandma and order thai milk tea with less ice and boba. the lady who took my order even asked me if i wanted gold or black. i told her black. when we got our order, we went back to our car. my husband told me his thai tea has no boba. i told him to go inside and have it changed. after few minutes, my husband came back. he told me "you didnt tell them to add boba. they charged me" he told me it was the asian lady who told him that. It is so frustrating bec it was not even the asian lady who took my order. it was a black lady. they didnt even care. that is sooo rude. the asian lady was insisting i didnt mention it but she was not even the person who took my order. she was busy doing the order drinks when i was there. we were...

The tea was great! The downside is the boba. The boba is consistently tough and tastes worse than any other boba chain in the area. We got honey green tea w/ boba and a peach mango slushie with lychee jelly. The honey green tea was amazing, not way over sweetened (like most places do it), but again the boba actively made me enjoy the drink less. The slushy was great, the lychee jelly tasted good and had a fine texture. The lobby is nice, with a leafy wall for fun pictures and picnic-like benches to sit with friends. pros: good sweetness level good taste - flavors offers a variety of toppings cons: boba is bad! only 1-2 workers usually, so it will take a while to get your drink.
