Tom's Treasures — Local services in Ketchikan

One of the few stores we found in Alaska that had actual authentic Alaskan made items.

I don't remember the amount you had to spend but if you spent a certain amount they would ship the items to you for free. We opted for that option because we were going from a cruise ship to an airplane to another airplane and didn't want our items thrown all about. The whale carving in particular was delicate.

All of our items were very carefully packed and arrived approximately a week after we got home from the cruise.

If you're doing a little shopping in Ketchikan..... Stop by. You won't be disappointed!

Staff was helpful but not pushy nor did they attempt to get you to buy something more expensive than what you were originally looking at. Very appreciated.

I cannot say enough about this shop!

I stopped in with my mother a few weeks ago during our Alaskan cruise. They had a great selection of local handmade items. We were looking for gifts and personal souvenirs, and they gave us some great recommendations. In our rush to get back for an excursion my mother completely forgot to get a totem pole for herself; the one souvenir she had been looking for.

I called the store a week after we got back and was able to give them a description of the totem poles we had browsed in the shop. They located the exact item and were kind enough to send me an image to verify it was the right one. I was able to purchase it over the phone and they shipped it to me on the east coast. It arrived within a week and will be a great birthday...

I recently purchased a pair of earrings for my daughter while visiting Ketchikan and stopped by Tom’s Treasure. Unfortunately, the earrings were damaged during our return flight home. I reached out to the shop with little expectation, just hoping for some guidance—and I was blown away by their response.
