Captain Ange is amazing! We went on a sunset cruise with Captain Ange and it was the best one we’ve ever been on. It was just my wife and I on the boat, which is the best way to cruise. She was very cautious with me on board due to 4 back surgeries and we appreciated the care she took with me onboard. Ange took us out and around the mooring fields, explaining about boat life around Key West. She took us through the harbor past the Sunset Celebration then out to the other side of Sunset Key to watch the sun sink into the water. It was so relaxing, peaceful and it was wonderful how patient Captain Ange was. She answered all our questions and chatted about Key West history. It was just a perfect evening. We had so much fun that we just had to book another trip with her. She took us to a sandbar and I actually got in the water. Imagine, 27 years visiting Key West and this was the first time I felt comfortable enough to get in the water. We saw a tarpon swim slowly by and a lemon shark came to visit, not too close though. She took us through the mangroves and explained the growth and how the little islands form. The ride back in was exhilarating with 6 parasailers to watch. It was too fun. I cannot say enough about the amazing experience Soul Shine Adventures and Captain Ange provided for our group on our 1/2 day charter. We were greeted with a warm smile, and were given a day to make many memories with. We saw dolphins, had the chance to snorkel, played on a sand bar, and lounged on a float in the beauty that surrounded us. Ange shared her love of the environment, as well as her knowledge about the ecosystem, the areas history and interesting facts and details throughout out our sightseeing and hands on experiences. Captain Ange with Soul Shine Adventures is a must do. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and fun. Our half day tour took our group of 6 through the bay, some of the nearby mangroves, out to a sandbar and one other spot for snorkeling. We got to see 2 different pods of dolphins, a sea turtle and a variety of fish and birds. Captain Ange was fully equipped with snorkel gear for the kids and adults, and had an inflatable dock to play on while we hung at the sand bar.
