First of all, if you’ve ever been to key west you know that parking can be a nightmare. So it’s great that this place has a dedicated spot to park... however I wasn’t told that I can’t even check in here. I had to drive to duval street with my dog in the car, find parking... and walk to a very busy location where I didn’t want to be just to check in and get my key. Tell me what sense that makes? Also, I’m being charged $25 per day for my dog as a pet cleaning fee. So when I was told that due to COVID they don’t even clean the rooms daily anymore it seems like the cleaning fee should also be waived right? Otherwise what the heck did I pay for? The room was nice enough and it came with a balcony overlooking the street. This almost makes up for it but I can’t give more than 3 stars when I consider the upsets. The shower is absolutely awful. There’s even a mushroom growing out of the floor. I’ll attach a picture. The WiFi also didn’t work at all. The SSID I was given isn’t even broadcasting. Since it rained on my entire vacation I thought I’d play some video games but without WiFi it’s not possible. I didn’t get to try the poor because of the rain, but it looks nice. I don’t think this is a bad place to stay but I think the price was steep for what I got and I’d have liked to know in advanced that I can’t check in at my hotel, but instead on the busiest street in the keys for some...

Pros: Very economical, clean (pool), quiet. Cons: (1) Filty, I mean absolute filth, I had to go to Publix and pick up a bottle of Lysol to clean the floor, and bathroom. (2) The bed was gross, over sheet was ladened with stains, and I plugged a few black hairs off the sheet, so sheets were obviously not changed. (3) Towels provided were nicely folded yet stained. (4) Free parking advertised, but reality is they have a total of 3 spots available, and the rest is on street parking. I wound up parking 2 blocks away.
Overall if your a dirty person, and enjoy staying in squalor this maybe your place! If you require clean rooms, crisp sheets, and a gorgeous place to stay I recommend the Island City House on Truman. Sadily I couldn't stay there because there was no vacancy. So in other words...
Read moreWe booked a 17-day trip, with my wife, me, and our dog. With last min planning we ended up having an extra day in Key West (poor us) but the hotel we had reserved had no room for us to arrive a day early so we booked one night at Colors on White and wish we stayed here all 4 nights. (We stayed in the room named Molly's Villa) This hotel is nothing short of what you want in Key West. Big a clean room with a small kitchen, a nice deck, and a nice waterfall pool. Free parking and pert friendly. It is a bit off Duval Street, maybe 7 blocks which was a 10-15 walk but it is by no means n issue. In fact, it is ab it of a benefit because it gets quiet here at night. The room was bright, clean, comfy bed, great AC, and literally what you want in a Key West room. We are already planning a...
