Trolley Tours — Local services in Key West

I'm so glad we did this tour. We could have rode the train but I'm glad we chose the trolley. Let me address the complaints in the negative review... YES, there is a 30 minute wait at the stops as the trolley runs every 30 minutes so with that said, obviously if one gets behind, then the times are slower. They definitely explain that to you when you buy the tickets and get on the trolleys. Second, they stop at 1 hotel as part of their tour that they partnered with... just relax and enjoy the history that they tell you about. Our trolley guide was entertaining as well as educational. We learned a great deal about the island that we didnt even expect to learn. We would absolutely recommend the trolley ride! One of the worst scams on key west. We paid around $40/person. Takes forever waiting for the trolley at any stop. Plan at least 30min between trolley. That is, if you are lucky enough to actually get on the first one that comes by. We ended up walking after waiting 45min for a backup trolley with space that never came. Also spends most of it's time outside of old key west going to hotels to pick up no one. Major waste of money and time. Might be better off renting a cart...

Where shall I begin? They change an astronomical amount to ride for the day, but they stop running at 5 so that they can charge more money for the ghost tour. $44 a person. It was cool listening to the history, but we could’ve ridden the Duval Loop for free with air conditioning and $14 somewhere else.
