Outer Vapes — Local services in Kill Devil Hills

I walked into the Kill Devil Hills location today, because I was a little curious and amazed that there were vape shops here in OBX. Being a first timer to the region I came here with enough juice and coils to last me two weeks. I was so glad that my girlfriend talked me into just stopping in. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and a great "home" atmosphere. This place truly reminded me of my local shop- welcoming, genuine, and honest. I've been to quite a few different shops over the past two years and this place is in my top 3 for sure.

Had a very long and great conversation with Christine on the juice they make, advocacy, and vape life. Such a great person with a lot of knowledge. She was able to pin-point 2-3 flavors that she thought I'd like after asking me 2 questions. That is talent! And she was spot on in finding things I'd enjoy. The juice I got was great- we can all get the big name stuff but the craft stuff is where it's at and I was happy to find a few high quality great tasting options here.

In summary it was a pleasant experience all around. Great staff, happy people, and supporters of the cause to keep vaping alive. I recommend this place if you're in the area or a short distance- even if it is to say...

I have been going to outer Vape since before anyone knew what they were. Actually before most people knew what the whole vape thing was. but it is really inconsiderate when the people waiting on you push you behind other customers, just because you are not buying new equipment. I was in the store to buy a bottle of Grinch, one of the few juices, dirty house or otherwise that I will Vape from this company. But you better believe they will be getting no more of my money, I received my bottle of grinch in 3 milligram nicotine, or at least I thought. Excited I filled up my crown tank with a juice I know is delicious, to find out that it is at least 6% nicotine because I can't even Vape it. thanks a lot outer vapes, you lost another customer, and now anyone who asks me where to go I will gladly direct them in the direction of Elizabeth City, far away from you. won't be wasting anymore of my time or money there, and we'll make sure that every single one of my vaping friends don't make the same mistake I have made over and over again for the last 2...

Tony from The Vapor Trail on Youtube suggested this shop. Dropped in during our annual OBX vacation to check it out and taste some liquids. Clean space, with a decent selection of hardware for beginners to advanced vapors. The selection of liquids was surprising, as most beach front shops are usually not this prepared. I spent an hour or so tasting. Sarah was very knowledgeable; and she was able to help nail down a couple of great flavors for me. It was great seeing CASAA information displayed; as this is something I look for these days. Everyone was friendly, and there was no hipster-tude to be found. While there, I watched the staff assist a couple of beginners with their setups. They discussed nic levels, battery safety, etc. I wish more shops in our state would follow this model. Every time I'm in OBX, these guys will get my business. Ended up buying a few bottles of their liquids (Dragon Tail & Blue Crumble); and an extra Sub Tank....
