You know how it goes – getting a son to agree to a haircut can be a monumental task! But after much negotiation, my 20-year old son finally agreed to a trim, specifically a shaggy style. So, the quest for the perfect salon in Kirkland began. After comparing prices and reviews, one place truly stood out: Essential Salon. 💇♂️
An appointment was set up for the same day. From the moment of arrival, Olga 🌺 was welcoming, and the atmosphere was inviting. My son felt comfortable throughout the entire process, including the hair wash, haircut, blow dry, and styling. The entire experience was superb!
He received the exact trim he wanted, along with advice on products to manage his thick, sometimes frizzy hair. The result was an amazing haircut, and the experience left a positive impression. Essential Salon is now the go-to salon for future hair needs. 🎉💯 As a matter of fact, I am planning to go there for a haircut soon! 🌿✨️
8/16 - I returned to Essential Salon for a haircut - this time for me. From the moment I walked in, Marlene greeted me nicely with positive energy. Olga did a great job. I had let my hair grow for 3 months and it looked desperate in need of a cut. Olga recommended a few options and helped me decide. The experience was kind, uplifting and inspirational. The service was exceptional and I left feeling cared for above and...
Read moreThe worst Haircut I have ever had and I am not picky at all. I have had absolutely the greatest experiences with my regular stylist here. But she couldn't make it that day so one of the other ladies filled in and the experience was negative from start to finish. She was angry that I didn't want a shampoo ( My hair is really short and I had just washed it) She was combative that I wanted a scissor cut instead of electric clippers and I should have stopped the session there but I thought it's ok maybe she's having a tough morning. (I really do not ask for much and I am one of the most positive encouraging customers You could hope for) She then proceed to complain about everything from the weather to the police to kids on Ebikes. The negativity was insurmountable and it shows in my absolutely terrible haircut. It is really difficult to give me a bad haircut. I usually tip 85 dollars on top of the cost of the cut but she got the lowest tip button they had only because I do not like people working for a low wage regardless...
Read moreI hesitate posting a review and sharing Marlene ;). Seriously, I've never been happier with a hairdresser. I'm very picky and and always over-directed my previous stylists. I've gone to Marlene for a couple years now and when I make my appointment, I just say "I'll see what Marlene thinks I should do." Last week we added a little pink. She's creative, fun, kind (even gives good advice) and always knows exactly what I need. I have no problem getting appointments that fit my schedule. I'm always done in a timely manner. Prices are very fair, atmosphere is comfortable, people are happy, and always seem to leave very satisfied. Much as I hate to share it, Essential is definitely the "Go To" salon...
