I was really excited to discover this place since it has a blend of brands like Aritzia all the way up to Chanel. I decided to look into consigning with them since they carried a lot of brands in my closet. They only consign during the week which is really inconvenient but I saw they consign by appointment on the weekends. I called and asked about the process and if I could schedule for 10:30AM this weekend to consign. She told me yes and took my name. Today arrived and waited around a few minutes before I was acknowledged at the front desk. Once she came over I let her know I was little early for my appointment. She asked if I had consigned with them before and I told her no this was my first time! She proceed to inform me that they do not consign on weekends. I let her know that I reviewed their website policy and called earlier this week and made an appointment. She seemed annoyed, said ok, and took my clothes. She looked at the first two items, turned around, and said yeah unfortunately these are out of season and we will be passing. Yes 2-3 items would be considered more fall but I had an Aritzia tank bodysuit, Aritzia halter dress, and AGOLDE shorts. So obviously I was confused because they WERE IN SEASON and less than a year old and in like new condition. I was confused and felt really uncomfortable because she seemed annoyed and she didnāt bother to look at ALL my items I paid to park to bring here. She had an attitude when she spoke and these were in season/brands they carried.
I awkwardly asked her to hold them so I could browse. The experience was poor. She spent her time handling two women and chatting with them over their potential purchases (I believe designer items). Even with other clients she was short with them and made those two women her priority. I was excited to purchase my first designer bag or a pair of Manolos for my wedding. But the interactions and experience really made me uncomfortable and I ultimately left with just an Aritzia duster I had eyed last time I was there. The checkout experience was cold and the second gal happening was rushing to package my item and didnāt say a word.
I felt ignored and an inconvenience to be there. I know the associates name and happy to provide that to management but I wonāt post it for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been going to that store for years, I like the things it sells, but when you see so many branded things, sometimes you think, are they original? Logically you have to ask, lately the new sellers they despots, I bought a Luis Vuitton chain and I asked them if it was original she responded (Of course we never accept fake things) hmm ok I thought and bought it even knowing that it was a chain that had scratches and I thought that because of the price and because it was second-hand it was fair when I bought it, at that time my daughter was with me and she told me, mom, that chain is too expensive to be second-hand because you don't check online to see if it was really a good one. buys. and well I did it, I checked online at that same moment and oh my surprise is that the chain is cheaper online new and with a guarantee, I searched in all the existing online stores and they were less than the price they sold it to me more expensive second-hand and damaged, I spoke with the store and the only response from a saleswoman was here everything is final sale and the manager is not there, so she took my information to see if the manager calls me again and until now she has never contacted me speak. I only recommend that if you are going to buy something second-hand and brand name, you look first because sometimes the prices are exaggerated. On the other hand, I'll be careful to shop at thrift stores and check prices online first. ( same price bad purchase) šonline price...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been going here for years, I bought my prom dress here, and I love this store and the owner, itās a Kirkland staple. Usually, the saleswomen are lovely, and the selection is good. Recently, one of the saleswomen made a snide remark over my motherās plus size figure, but we let it slide due to our love for this place. I decided to give some clothing for consignment today and when I asked why she didnāt take some pieces, the saleswoman who evaluated the clothing talked to me in a demeaning manner as if to imply I had no concept of fashion or understanding of designer labels. I do truly believe in this store, its quality, and I recommend people visit it. Still, I think some training on professionalism within the staff is necessary.
Update: It's been years, and this store has become...
