So I called to place a to go order after I couldn't get a few details in on the online ordering system. I had everything in my cart and when I called I read it verbatim to the woman. One of the entrees I ordered out of the 10 was from the gluten free menu. I had said "from the gluent free menu can I get the 6 oz sirloin". I get home and they had put my 6 oz sirloin in a container with pasta.... anyone familiar with celiac disease you CAN NOT eat gluten and there for the pasta had contaminated the food. So I called to inform them there was a mistake and to which the manager Darlene Keller repeatedly told me that I didn't order gluten free I ordered sirloin with the pasta. I tried numerous times to tell her no but was called a liar each time. She finally agrees to re-make the meal. I head up there with the contaminated food that can not be eaten and head inside. I explain to this manager again that im not upset it was done wrong im upset you keep telling me what I ordered and calling me a liar. I even showed her my phone where I had the items still in the cart that I read from when I called them. I was still repeatedly called a liar and then the woman who took my order came busting in and yelled at me that I ordered wrong and once again I was called a liar. The manager did not even try to stop the employee from her outburst. When all was said and done she brought me the right meal and a gift card and once again called me liar before I left. So I guess a 20 dollar gift card is suppose to make me feel better that i was repeatedly called a liar and told what i ordered and treated with such poor customer service? Read moreWe went in on the busiest time of the year, on valentine's day, so maybe service was reflective of that. But, server only had 4 tables that we could gather, and spent a lot of time in the back.
We ordered the never ending filled pasta, both of us with shrimp and scallops. It came out very wrong, with the wrong shrimp (breaded) and wrong filled pasta. The children's meals came out with the wrong sides, and we were charged for an extra side we never ordered. Waiter was nowhere to be found for over 15 minutes after food delivery, and the person who brought it out was not our waiter. He said he would tell our waiter though, but I don't know if he ever found him either.
Needless to say we were both hungry so we ate regardless. Later, we asked for refills on our beverages and didn't get them for over 20 Minutes. It was hard for me to eat without a beverage to wash it down. We had two small children with us and by the time he came back around to offer us the check, we were ready to leave. We never did get a refill of pasta made the correct way we originally ordered it.
All in all we love Olive Garden, but will not be spending special occasions there. Too much let down for sure. Not a good value whatsoever for the food we recieved. And to be let down on a special occasion isn't a good memorable time. I would suggest only going on off times, and during the week when service...

My husband and I were in Kokomo and decided to eat at Olive Garden. It was about 45 minutes until dinner. So the evening staff most likely just coming on board
So, being in our 60s, sometimes we don't hear very well with a lot of background noise. With not a lot of a wait crew on yet, we were seated by a large party in the back, and of course, they wanted to have fun. My husband and I looked at each other and we decided to ask to be moved. (Hostess...if the customers are older, expect unhappy guests or for them to ask to be reseated if its too noisy).
We asked to be reseated. Well, from there on, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! My husband and I could easily hear each other, and Brittany, our server, recommended the best appetizer when I asked her of a recommendation of two.
We decided on Soup & Salad (plus the appetizer), and 2 coffees. Brittany was awesome, offered us more salad and waited to bring the soup out later so it wouldn't get cold.
Plates were removed timely, and Refills were offered generously. The tab was brought out and Brittany offered us a cup of coffee to go at that time! We were so thrilled to have Brittany as our server, and our dining experience was top-notch all the way.
