UNIQLO Disney Springs — Local services in Lake Buena Vista

Horrible. I bought an item in store and came back the next day to return it since I noticed the item was damaged which I didn't notice upon purchasing and it was the last one. The employees looked at me funny and said they have signs "everywhere" where they don't accept returns because it clearly states "final sale". There was only a single small sign that was high above all the shelves that said items that aren't in resellable condition cannot be returned. Even the receipt has its standard policy upon purchase. I explained the situation and the male employee called up a manager. The employee is insistant on not accepting the return and keeps mentioning how the store doesn't take such items back due to the sign. The manager then tells me 3rd party items that are damaged and without tags and packaging cannot be returned. Both were present, except the condition which I explained was out of my control and wanted a refund. Despite showing on the receipt the normal return window on those items, they still refused. Not only did they make excuses, they were gaslighting me and then ultimately walked away altogether. As a then first time customer, I was apalled by their service. They knew I was new and has purchased the item at near closing, so I didn't have time to inspect which I didn't think I'd need to considering they shouldn't be selling damaged goods to begin with. Despite being a 2 story building, there isn't a single bathroom to use. Staff aren't knowledgable at all what products they hold and a good portion of them can't even understand English and simply walk around the store in circles. The rest hide in the back to laugh and not attend customers while someone else blocks the registers and harasses you to use the kiosks if you're even on the other side of the belted line. I have made the mistake of visiting back several times and it's always the same procedure. They also favor giveaways to others who didn't even qualify for the promotions they had at the time. There are many complaints I have on this location but can only fit so much space. Please start over with all who work here. Not a single one has a lick of awareness and shouldn't belong in a busy touristic area that are rude to guests and unable to perform at bare...

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, DISGUSTED and ANGRY. I will never shop there again.

WARNING... they do not accept credit cards. That's right... no Visa, no Master Card, no American Express or any other credit card. ONLY DEBIT.

I found an item I wanted to purchase. I went to the check out with my Credit / Debit card. I swiped and the machine defaulted to DEBIT. In every other location around the world, when that happens there is a button on the machine that says "other" to which I then change it to CREDIT.

This machine did not have that option. I said to the cashier that I wanted it to be credit. She looked at me dumb-founded so I repeated myself "I want credit, not debit". She again looked like I was speaking a foreign language. I then asked to speak to a manager. The manager came over and I explained I want it charged as credit, to which the manager said quote "whatever the computer says we have to use". I said that was ridiculous and told the manager to manually override the computer so I and enter the credit card details on her computer screen. She replied she does not know how to manually enter credit cards and I would have to use DEBIT. She pointed to the fact that my card has the "chip" in it to which I replied yes, but she can manually enter it (chip or not), and I should be able to use my Master Card / Credit and not be forced into debit.

Finally she replied that their computers do not take credit, she shrugged her shoulders at me and asked "what do you expect me to do?" I told her that she needs to learn how to use credit card systems and I stormed out.

This was completely outrageous and stupid. What store does not accept...

We've been to this store many times over the years, usually as a method of picking up some Disney paraphernalia for ourselves and others. It's a pretty fun spot for that, with a continually changing selection from different artists. I'm not one likely to be considered hip, but would think that term could apply to this store easily. Pretty likely you'll find something here to capture the memory of your trip to Disney.

Even as a local, though, we still like to come just for everyday clothing. They offer a huge selection, from sports to casual to dress for every group. It's very affordable and high quality to boot. Many of their T-shirts are very heavy - almost too heavy for the Florida heat, but there are other selections available that are weather appropriate.

It's not just clothes, though. On top of the choices for clothing, there are shoes, costumes, fans, decorations and other things. The staff is very responsive and helpful and the store is always, always clean and organized. Whenever we are in Disney Springs and are in need of some shirts, shorts or gifts for family members, this is one of our goto's. They also provide some of the best shopping bags you'll find anywhere.
