Office Depot — Local services in Lake Jackson

My experience at this store is just weird. The service on the floor is fantastic. There are always people offering to help and they're very helpful when you need them. But when it's time to check out, it's like being at a different store. There has been a time when I was waiting in line and the cashier took the customer behind me first with no explanation. When I asked to see a manager, he came up and stood behind the cashier as she checked out my items, but he ever said a word. Today, the cashier just looked at me when she saw the items in my basket. She needed me to lift the heavy item from the top to get to the box of paper underneath, but she didn't say anything. She just looked at me until I asked her what was happening. Another time, my purchase required an override but the cashier said nothing, we just stood there until someone walked by who could help. Once, I asked about the availability of a product. The cashier volunteered to check on it but didn't. She instead walked off and began talking with another customer as I stood there wondering if I should wait or leave. I left. I went in to this store with the intention to purchase a laptop. After looking for a while I decided which one I wanted. Since no one came into the department to ask if I needed help my son actually shouted out if someone worked there. After a couple of minutes a girl walks up. She asked what we wanted, I said I wanted this laptop. She smirked, laughed and said someone would be there in a bit. Then walked away. We waited 10 more minutes and no one and I mean no one even appeared to be working there. We walked out and I told the cashier who was sulking around they lost a sell and all he could say was sorry. No offer to help, nothing. I went home and ordered one to be shipped to me from Best Buy rather than EVER go back in to this store. This is not the first time I have had horrible service but will be the last because I will not darken the door of this poorly run store. This place is a horrible example of customer service. Until management changes and customer service skills are taught it will continue to suck. Don't waste your time...

Today, Dec. 4, 2017 I send 3 pics to print on 8.5×11 paper. I did it so many time at different locations. Last 2 week I came here, they just printed it while I'm waiting. Today, I come back to do the same thing and the lady ( I forgot to ask her name) told me that they short hand and the person who know how to do this is not here. So to print this I have to come back 2,3 days later to pick up the order. I pointed to the girl who did it for me last time stand next to her and said she did it for me last time. By the way, nobody waiting after me. Before me is only 1 person. So just me and 1 more person at the printing shop and there is 2 person working there.
