On top of her own handmade creations, Nicole offers silversmithing classes which is rare & unique in our city and has the perfect local small business vibe. I’ve taken several of her workshops to make my own rings since my fingers are tiny (sizes 3-4) and I could never find chunky turquoise sterling silver rings that would fit me. Thanks to Nikdreamer, I can make my own.

Nicole is super nice and walks you step by step through the entire process with demos - how to cut metal, use the torch for soldering and finishing touches. I’ve made rings with one stone to three stones, small and large sizes for a variety of styles and looks. I’ve brought own stones and purchased from the ones she has sourced too.

The silversmith class is incredible. I’ve been in the shop a handful of times to purchase crystals and other beautiful gem stones and finally got the chance to craft my own turquoise ring from scratch. Nik is an amazing instructor, she was patient and her oversight through the process made me feel confident in such a complex craft. I learned to texture, solder, cut, set… everything it takes to create a unique piece of jewelry. I had a bit too much caffeine before the class and my hands were shaky at times so I definitely suggest going into this experience as clear minded as possible. The end result was crazy, I’d put my ring next to any store quality ring with confidence mine is as good or better. I fell in love with the craft and hope to return again to more advanced courses in the future....

Had the best time with me and my bestie making rings. We did the level 1 class and it was so fun picking out gems and what sterling silver band we wanted. I went with an opal stone (that cost a tiny bit extra) and I did a hammered band. There were so many options!!!! The instructor was also very sweet and knowledgeable about her stuff. The class is totally worth the price and its in the a great little mall type thing where you can get coffee and see other artists. Highly recommend! She also has some vintage clothing goodies...
