To the owner / manager of Atomic Liquors. I am an airline Captain who does about 5-6 Las Vegas overnights each month. Many times, I enjoy bringing my crews to your very historic establishment and dropping a few hundred dollars each time, while wowing my crews about the history of your business.

Tonight, Feb 28, your blonde dude bartender was WAY out of line - my guess - high on something, when he barked at me for stepping outside the door, barely, while I waited for our drinks. I had one foot in the the door at the bar, and one out the patio to show another captain how awesome your establishment is.

He proceeded to threaten to kick me out, so I thought, well, maybe he just wants my credit card and so I gave it to him and asked him to keep it open. He begrudgingly obliged, and when I thought this is all he really needed, I then proceeded to ask him if it would be okay to step away from the bar to go to the men’s room. His response was immediate, and it was MEAN. He proceeded to tell me and my pilot and flight attendants to get the eff out of the bar while beckoning the bouncer to assist. Like.. lol.. wth…

My question for you, Mr. or Mrs. owner of this amazing establishment is… “really? Really.. wth…?” who do you have working for you and flying off his meds and treating your customers like this? Is it any wonder why your establishment was pretty empty on a Friday night? Please have a talk with this young man. He was clearly having a bad night, for whatever reason, and projected it on to some of your best customers. The boy needs to learn some manners, and might need to go back to customer service school for a refresher on how not...

This is not a safe establishment. My friend cut her hand on broken glass on the bar that they did not properly clean up before the next customer touched the bar. She is particularly squeamish with blood and injuries, and she panicked and fainted. She was not drunk. While we were taking care of her midcrisis the “security” person, Wesley, had the audacity to tell us she needs to get up and leave because it’s a liability. We got her up off the ground after she came to and she needed to use the restroom so we walked to the restroom and Wesley attempted to stop us from going to the restroom. Wesley repeatedly threatened us with time limits while we were taking care of her. The bar did not even offer her proper first aid before trying to kick us out so we went to clean up the injury ourselves. The real liability here is the fact that this bar does not provide adequate first aid and does not care for their customers well being. I am repulsed by the fact that their employee Wesley hounded us to leave the bar while my friend was midcrisis. We had 20 people in our group, all coherent and attentive to the situation, including a nurse to take care of her and the employees at this bar could not do the bare minimum to bring us a bandaid and proper sanitation? Complete garbage. The manager and owner of this bar should be ashamed of how Wesley treated us and need to take ownership of their responsibility to the safety of their customers. Do...

Bland. Our experience was bland. The bartender feigned genuine interest but my friend and I are service industry vets and we know fake friendly or disinterest when we see it. Her attention was concentrated at the other side of the bar where she chatted and thats fine, we had eachother to talk with. Serving our drinks consisted of her making them with her back to us and then dropping them off and skipping off to the other side of the bar where her attention was centered. She didn't lay out a cocktail napkin or offer a straw and it wasn't easy to regain her attention to get a straw. When I finally asked she threw an unwrapped straw onto the bar. You can decide for yourself why we think that's wrong. And before we could ask for a cocktail napkin she dashed away... where to? You guessed it. The other side of the bar.. The door guy was super friendly. Liked him. The lighting was dark and red and super rad we like that. Truffle fries were alright. The drinks were... well they definitely were drinks.

All that aside... I love the aesthetic and vibe of this place. Very davidLynch-y I'm sure there are better bar staff here so I'm not knocking it but one star and giving this...

Recently stopped in here for the first time at the tail end of a Las Vegas visit. I wish I had visited here long before now. Arrived shortly after their opening time on a Friday and sat at the bar. The original intent was to stay for an hour or two and move on to the next thing. Many more (than 2) hours later, I had a head full of new cocktail information and learned about some liquors I did not previously know existed. Cecily was attentive, very knowledgable, and patient with all of my questions. More importantly, while I had a few of the on-menu cocktails, she proceeded to serve me several very creative cocktails not on the menu. Her skills as a craft "mixologist" rival those I have experienced elsewhere. The bar itself is dark and the initial vibe is certainly "dive", but my experience was anything but. I would call this a "hidden gem" for sure and will be on my agenda for every future Las Vegas visit, as well as a strong recommendation to any friends planning a visit.
