DO NOT GO HERE! My first time ever writing a negative review for a business but I have to warn people not to go here. My husband and I got a couples massage yesterday and it was awful in so many ways, just to name a few...Let's just say we both felt "violated" - they spent way too much time rubbing where they shouldn't have been (It was so uncomfortable), The 2 Massage Therapists spoke to eachother (in an unknown language) off and on throughout the entire massage while we were trying to relax, They charged us $220 in advance and then charged us an additional $100 after our massages were over claiming it was for extra time they gave us and claimed that we agreed to it during the massage, which we absolutely did not. We tried to tell her we did not agree to it and she just kept saying that we did, finally we gave her the extra $100 just so we could leave. We then asked for the $40 tip back that we gave them and she wouldn't give it back to us. (So we ended up paying $360 for a horrible 1 hour massage that did not feel good and made us both uncomfortable). Honestly, I'm doubting they were truly trained Massage Therapists. They were unprofessional, didn't do any of the standard basic things any Massage Therapist would normally do, and it did not feel good at all - we were both just waiting for it to be over the entire time - (which is proof that we would never have agreed to pay for "extra time" we wanted it to be over). DO NOT GO HERE! RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Thank you for your response. I can assure you we were at NV Spa located on the second floor of El Cortez Casino on Saturday Jan 15th 2022 around 1:30pm. We used my credit card to pay $222 before our massages (I have the reference number for the charge on my credit card statement and the address for the charge says 600 Freemont Street Las Vegas). I'm certain you have cameras in the lobby, if you check them it will show us being stopped on our way out and made to pay the additional $100. If you check the cameras, you will also see how unprofessional your "massage therapists" are as they had us walk down the hallway, past the lobby wearing nothing but a small bed sheet. (She grabbed all our clothes and brought them into a different room while we were laying on the massage tables). As I said before, I'm doubting they are trained massage therapists for...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. It all started when I called, and they texted me back with prices of their services. They must have thought I wasnt a local bc they seen I didnt have a 702#..but I am. I was greeted by a nice American lady to go over my options once we arrrived, then during the process, she had me hold on and switched me to the older Asian lady..who they started to tell me that the 60 min body and feet combo with hot stones would only provide 10 min of body, and they other remaining time to feet???She wanted us to upgrade to a another price level..When I said no, then she tried saying that the pressure is very soft, and if I wanted a more firm massage, we would have to pay another 10$??What a way to treat locals. What she didnt know was that her business lost $120 for 2 60 min massages, and another 35$ in tips. ( And I dont need some lame response either from managemnt ot staff, saying If im at the correct spa..Yeah I walkes right up the winedy stairs to the second floor thru the glass doors to your spa in El Cortez...and dont try and say we have no record...of this bc I left before your staff can even more insult us)...Here's a tip for u....I dont see how your business will be able to stay open for this year, better start draining the swamp and firing ppl, and start learning how to learn from Forbes 500 Standards. STAY AWAY...OWNER TRIES TOFLIP IT AROUND ON TJE CUSTOMER.. CHICKEN AND...
Read moreThis was a tough one to rate. I'll start by saying the 60 minute massage at the golden nugget was $200, and i didnt want to spend so much. I learned the spa at El Cortez, which was just a block from my hotel, had a spa with $59 one-hour massages. Generally, this price is only available if you drive into the suburbs and find a thai massage in a strip mall. A price this low on a hotel spa was virtually unheard of. Then again, it was at el cortez, not known for its luxury.
Upon arriving, it felt like a calm environment. A sign at the desk said "Ill be back in 5 minutes." A lady came out and for the $59 massage she said it was $70. Taxes, or something. Then she tries to upsell massage oil for an extra $15. Still, $85 beats $200. You pay in advance.
The massage was slightly below average but not bad. She was good with the back and shoulders, not very good at the foot massage. It was a nice room, nice music, calm and clean. After, the water provided was in one of those tiny mouthwash size dixie cups. Maybe one ounce of water. Pretty pitiful for a spa in the desert to not even have a decent water cup
When i went to tip her, i needed change, and she pulled $5 out of a wad of cash in her bra. This technique most certainly wasnt used at the $200 alternative at Golden Nugget.
Still, for a value massage you can easily walk to from fremont street, if youre ok paying less and getting less, it's a...
