Let's be honest. The Grand Canyon is amazing and hotel pickup was well organized. The reason I say 3 stars is because of the word "tour" and our bus drivers attitude. In no way would I call this a tour, I would call it a bus ride to the Grand Canyon with a few pit stops on the way to stretch your legs and grab a coffee, like on any other bus ride. The driver was not very polite to the tourists on the bus, getting frustrated and in my opinion rude about people's very understable questions. Which she wouldn't have had to answer in the first place if she explained anything about the trip... Everyone on the bus was confused about the schedule and options available. Right before arriving at the Canyon she mentioned that there were 2 options, walk around the canyon or be driven the meeting point, this was extremely badly explained. Also she was strongly discourageing people from doing the walk. She personally thought it was too cold and too long. And "nothing much to see". I was sure I would do the walk and at first we were the only 2 who refused to have her talk us out of it. Others joined when they saw that we would not be convinced otherwise.. as it is what we came for. The driver was surprised, constantly saying it's too cold.. and I returned with a sun burn.
We loved our trip, the stops and the Grand Canyon is a must see but again.. this is a bus ride with a bus driver, not a tour with a tour guide.
At the end she was very rude to some tourists about drop off, and without hesitation right after it all asked the whole bus to tip her for her work.

Read moreOk the tour and the helicopter flight and landing were great but was supposed to have lunch included but when we got there we had to check in for our helicopter flight and was told to be back @ 12:45 the restaurants/concession stands line was too long for us to get a meal before our 1:00 flight enjoyed the flight Tremendously but after the flight the food lines were even longer so we went to another stop food lines too long there also so we had to be back at the bus by 2:30 so by the time we took the shuttle back it was time to get back on the bus to return. Contacted customer service said they can't refund any portion because they can't controll how many people book, But I did talk to a worker from the park he said that THEY CAN'T LEAVE YOU UNTIL SOMEONE IS MISSING FOR 2.5 HRS SO TAKE YOUR TIME EVERYONE ON THE BUS MAY BE UPSET BUT THEY SHOULDN'T OFFER MEAL PLANS FOR UNDERSTAFFED FACILITIES BETTER YET BOOK WITH ANOTHER COMPANY NOT A GRAYLINES COMPANY!RUINED A...

We were coming from Delaware to Las Vegas and the day before the tour not even 24hrs I got a call saying we canceled your tour which truly sucked for all of us traveling that far and getting a hotel to do this and have them just cancel our South rim bus tour and told maintenance. We all felt cheated and could of spent all this traveling money going somewhere else. I'm not rich so I didn't have enough money to try and book with another company and they didn't get my money back in time so I missed booking with another company. This was a bad trip for us based on looking forward and not given enough time to plan another trip or get money back for another trip.
