After a long journey to town and with hunger pangs setting in late at night, we were thrilled to find Bangkok Street Thai Street Kitchen open until midnight. This place is a true gem for anyone craving authentic, fresh Thai food in the wee hours.
Right off the bat, you can’t go wrong with the classics – the Thai fried rice and pad Thai. Both dishes were a testament to the kitchen’s ability to deliver well-loved flavors that resonate with the soul of Thai cuisine. The balance of flavors was spot-on, making each bite a delightful experience.
Venturing a bit off the beaten path, we decided to try the crab dumplings. This was a first for me, and I was pleasantly surprised. They were a unique twist to the usual offerings, packed with flavor and a pleasant textural contrast that had me savoring every bite. It’s a dish I would recommend to anyone looking to try something new and exciting.
Adding to the wonderful dining experience was the staff’s hospitality. Despite our late-night visit, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made our meal even more enjoyable.
My only regret is that I don’t live closer to indulge in this fantastic spot more often. Bangkok Street Thai Street Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone looking for the best, most authentic Thai food around, especially if you find yourself hungry late at night. Their commitment to quality, flavor, and customer service shines through in every dish, making it a memorable experience that I wish I could repeat on a...
Read moreI wonder how could this restaurant got 4.6 star. It's unforgettable experience in terms of bad food and service. We ordered spicy basil, pad Thai and khao Soi noodle soup. We got the first two, but even after 40 minutes, the soup is not served. Meanwhile we reminded them twice, with the reply just a second. We finally received the soup after an hour literally. Coming to the taste, the spicy basil has only salt in terms of spice and basil probably disguised as spinach in terms of flavour. The pad Thai was burnt, extremely dry meat and super fried tofu. Noodles were overcooked and soggy. It tastes bitter because everything was burnt. No flavour of soy, fish sauce and tamarind at all. Sweet instead of savoury and spicy. The noodle was served with bean sprouts. The sprouts taste far better than the noodles, may be they do not have to cook it. The most awaited soup was also mostly blunt in taste, no flavour of usual red curry paste, some overcooked flat noodles kind of commit suicide in coconut milk. The chicken piece size was nice, however again overcooked instead of slowly cooked. Quite expensive, but as it's in Vegas, I consider it normal.
The only thing is decoration was ok, so I give two star for that.
For food, I am giving one star, cause negative star is not possible.
For service also the same, one cause less than that is not possible here.
I am adding the photo of the bill to show that it is a genuine review.
So in one line,

Read moreCute little Thai restaurant that is located a little off the beaten path. From the strip you need to pass the stratosphere and drive past some slightly run down areas. In any case once we got to the restaurant we parked in the adjacent public parking lot and had to pay $4 for 1 hour which turned out to be more than enough time for us.
What we ordered: Pad Thai with shrimp (initially we ordered the lobster pad Thai but saw the $50 price tag and decided to just try something more well known.). Papaya salad which was on special for $10. Red curry with chicken. Thai iced tea. After sitting down I checked in the restaurant on yelp and got a check in special of a free Thai iced tea with order of entree. Cool I thought even though I already paid. Well might as well get a second one, or so I thought. The owner said it was no longer valid, which was a little let down. Not a big deal I thought. The food was pretty good, nothing stood out as spectacular. We were a little disappointed by the stellar reviews, but the staff seemed nice so I'm not giving them a low star rating. Don't get me wrong, the food was good but nothing stood out as something I'd go out of my way to drive here again. Worth a try.
3.5 stars rounded up makes this a solid 4...
