Went to the store right before closing, asked if they had any grand national diecast or 300zx hot wheels. He showed me the grand national and said he will look for the 300zx hot wheels. I said ok, just hold onto the grand national and we will be back tomorrow and pick it up and gives him time to find the hot wheels and weâll take them both. He said ok, he will be there and see him tomorrow. My wife and I go back to the store the next day and look around. I then went to the front and asked for the guy we talked to the previous night. The smaller girl working there said oh he is not in and we just had the car we promised you signed by some Hector guy from the fast and the furious today⌠sorry but the car is now 80% more then what we were asking⌠I said shockingly why would you do that? You promised me to hold this to find the other I was searching for and we would be in tomorrow to grab it? The girl was rude, couldnât give a reasonable explanation why they would promise something and then do that, they had plenty of stuff they had signed but just cared more about possibly making more money then a promise to a customer. Shady and disgusting customer service. When i asked when the gentleman who was there the previous night would be back she purposely didnât tell me and when I asked for a business card she would not give one to me. They basically wrecked the toy now by some low scale âcelebrityâ and I hope it never sells now. Not only was Hector have nothing to do with the grand national in those movies but wasnât even in the movie that car was in! These guys are obviously shady and care zero about their customers or promises made, then hide so they canât be confronted by their shady business. Do not recommend and do not trust this company. Seems more money is worth everything over a promise to a valued customer. Hope it never sells now that they wrecked the toy with a nobody signing it. I didnât care about the movie, it was about the car and the guy who hid after knowing what he promised is obviously a low life coward. Youâve...
Read moreIâm leaving a 5 star because this place was really awesome, really great service from the worker and helped me find out a car I wanted and she was fast I couldnât believe it tbh đ¤ she was outstanding, fast worker, and deserves a raise if I was the boss or the management position because she seemed really smart and working fast I think she deserves it!! This was on April 9th around 11 pm or so and when I called I asked for the car I wanted and she said we had them quick and that made me happy and exited so I got on the RTC bikes and went fast as I can and even in person she was so helpful, quick working skills! And a really dope person to talk to, but in my view they had a lot of cars you couldnât imagine that was a lot there, like big to small cars you canât find weâre you live and this place had like kinds of cars even the 2005 2004 Scion xB import racers I was so happy because Iâve been looking and looking and this store had them from big to small but they didnât have the big because they sell fast and that I can understand 100% but my review to her and the store 5 STARS!! âď¸ âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ And tbh I would give her a raise and, she has great workers skills, and deserves a promotion if her worker skills are that good and never seen a worker that hard working and carrying about her customers but I got my cars and Iâm happy And exited she made my entire night because I didnât find nothing I liked in Las Vegas and when she said she had them OMG I jumped and got happy just for a Scion toy car but I have a love for cars everyone does, but to her or the boss GIVE HER A raise you have a good person with great skills working for...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked into Toy Shack, the experience was uncomfortable and unwelcoming. One of the lady employees immediately began watching me closely, to the point where I made eye contact several times and still felt like I was being followed around the store. Instead of creating a friendly environment, it felt more like being treated with suspicion.
My friends and I were simply browsing, yet the staffâs behavior toward us was unnecessarily rude and condescending. One employee pushed between my friends and the glass cases with an âexcuse meâ in a tone that felt more dismissive than polite, despite having plenty of room to walk around. Later, when I inquired about Spider-Man comics, the response I received was curt and condescending. My friend, who asked about Hulk comics in clear English, was met with a loud, patronizing âWhat!?â before the employee finally pointed out the section in a way that came across as harsh and belittling.
My friends happen to be musicians and may not fit the âclean-cutâ look some staff expect, but this is Las Vegas, on Fremont Street no less. People from all walks of life visit here. The way we were treated felt judgmental, and itâs hard not to feel like profiling played a part in how we were perceived.
The result was an uncomfortable shopping experience that discouraged us from making any purchases. We had genuinely been looking forward to visiting Toy Shack, but left disappointed. Customer service and attitude matter just as much as the merchandise, and I hope management takes a serious look at how guests are...
