You could not get me to stop gushing about how fantastic this Chapel is! They are everything they advertise and more. There are no tricks, hidden charges, or house always wins. The staff is incredible and the venue is beautiful. All you need is your marriage license and they have everything else you need. They have gowns, they have tuxedos, they have rings, they have flowers, they have the minister, and they can even be your witness! For my wedding I wanted something incredibly simple, just me and my fiance and our witness. Lucky Little Chapel was prepared for us. The couple before us had a group of 30 people and we're just wrapping up as we arrived. Within 15 minutes the Chapel was set up just for us! From Amber who answered the phone and was able to answer all of my questions and assist me with my small deposit so we had a guaranteed time to Rachel who helped get our memories sent almost effortlessly so that we didn't have to stay in town until processing was finished. Enough cannot be said about the Lucky Little Chapel and the perfection they offer for your perfect day. They have some incredible offers for people like me who wanted to elope and have a really simple, yet respectable wedding - all the way up to those platinum style services. Trust me when I say that you have just found your wedding venue. You can check them out on TripAdvisor for more reviews and honest and true information that will assure you that these reviews are completely accurate! Thank you again to Amber, Rachel, Omar, and Henry. Without you our dream wedding would still be just a dream. Thank you for helping make our dreams come true. When we decide to renew our vows we will be calling you back! God bless you and the work you are doing. Thanks a million.
Now that I've told you about the Lucky Little Chapel I'd just like to tell you a tiny something about us.. My partner and I met April 1997 and have been together over 18 years. We did not just pick this place because we didn't have options. There are hundreds of places that perform religious, traditional, non religious, civil unions, and any other type of service you might be looking for. But for same-sex marriages to be recognized nationwide we chose the Lucky Little Chapel. Beyond the shadow of a doubt we have begun a new chapter of our lives as a legally married husband and husband. This was chosen for all of the reasons listed above and have no regrets.
God bless and Godspeed to the Lucky Little Chapel and on your dream wedding being performed right...
Read moreHad a wonderful wedding at Lucky Little Chapel. Rosanna called me about a week before our wedding to go over the details with me and confirm where we wanted to be picked up by their limo driver. She also informed me that we got two custom songs, one for the bride walking down the aisle and one for the kiss.
We went in the day before the wedding to drop off our marriage license. Verlita (I think that's the spelling, not certain) greeted us at the door and was really nice. She went over all the finer details with us and took down our two songs.
The day of the wedding went really well. The limo driver, Phil, was early at our hotel, so we got to the chapel with plenty of time to spare. He was super nice, and I made sure to tip him. Some of our guests were there already. My wife to be got dressed in their changing room while I waited with the other already arrived guests in their lobby/waiting room.
Once all the guests were there, they had all the guests and I wait in the lobby/waiting room while we waited my bride to be walked down the aisle by her friend.
The minister, Henry, went over what would happen with me while we waited and the photographer Stephanie went over with the guests how things would unfold.
The ceremony itself went fairly quick. The songs we selected were played and at a suitable volume level. My bride and I were also able to exchange vows. The minister Henry gave some great words on marriage and love as well.
After that, Stephanie did photos with my bride and I. Then she brought in the guests, and we did photos with our guests. After that, we were able to select the 20 photos we liked best (our package came with 20). Stephanie did great with the photos, and we made sure to tip her as well.
Altogether, the whole wedding took about 45-50 minutes. We didn't feel pressured/rushed. We were easily able to view our photos and the video of the wedding on the website that they gave us our password to access from. I was able to order our marriage certificate from the Clark County website two days after the wedding as well.
As a side note, you have to pay the minister separately from the package you book. $50. We paid him $60. $40 we tipped the photographer, and $20 we tipped the limo driver. The package we booked was just under $300. So around $420 for everything. Was totally worth it and recommend it to anyone looking to get...
Read morePeople are nice there, but I have to say something just a suggestion to any future couples. Me and my husband are both first time marriage, we just want to pick a decent price package for our wedding. So we got that $259 package and $180 hair&makeup. I realized the price is not worth. At the beginning we asked the process of the photograph somebody said they'll have different back drop. Anyways. We took bunch of photos at the same room and nothing special. That's fine. And "the courtesy vehicle service" is not available, the good thing is we had our own car. Wait! Should they deduct the price for that? I understand that LOTS OF PEOPLE want to get married on 2020. 1010 so every thing it's ok. The worst part is that $180 hair and makeup. She's very nice but she's just NOT THAT PROFESSIONAL. Earlier that day we texted, I told her I don't have any specific hair style that needed, so you help me design something nice and pretty. Ended up I just got a bun on my head that's it. You can see the picture there's no style of my hair. She took 1 and half hour for my makeup which is like basic. Then 10 minutes for my hair bun. That's also fine at least I looked pretty. All her makeup tools are old and dirty (specially the sponge)looks like been using for long time already. Even if it's not during the pandemic,I don't think we should share tools. Definitely not the OLD ONES! After that I got a small spot of allergic reaction near my eye, that took me a week to heal. I got a surprise at the end of the makeup, please check the pictures and see how she put my lipstick back?? You can't just put the cap back, without retracting it first. How careless is this person?!?! Highly recommend any future couples choose a reliable makeup artist separately (find someone who had website or social medias that you can see their work) that will be better. Even though everything happened like this we still gave everybody very decent tips. I don't want to say anything bad during my wedding and ruining my mood, but some facts I have to say. That's why I'm here writing this. Hope the future couples can use their money wisely.
UP DATE : After I posted, the owner contacted us. He kinda solve the problem that we got. Appreciated it. So I think they'll keep learning from more customers in the future and make the...
