Absolutely loved this location and my interaction with staff initially. The rooms are SO cute. Almost perfect actually. But, DO NOT stay in room H. We repeatedly had staff members coming into our room to fix the breaker. Which we were very accommodating to and wasn't a huge deal. After the 2nd time a man came down - who we weren't familiar with asking to come into our room and look at the breaker. After we asked if he worked here - he said no. So we told him no that he couldn't and started swearing at us and telling us he knows the owners. We tried to just get past this after a sweet girl came down and tried to fix the breaker again and smooth things over.
So we went up to the bar later to try and just have some fun. At the end of the night when they were closing - we mentioned a discount and we told them we had a very good experience except for the guy that was very aggressive. She started laughing at us and saying he does work here. So, it's very confusing whether he works here or doesn't. At this point, we got so upset and could not handle how things have been handled here. The vibe here is amazing but you probably will be let down by the customer service and the...
Read moreThis place is so much fun! So unique with beautiful views! The suites are super adorable and comfortable. They have a kitchenette so that you can prepare your own food. Which with COVID is an amazing comfort. Plenty of bedding for the whole family. I really love that the bar over looks the hotel suite patios. You can keep track of your kiddos while being able to have a refreshing adult beverage. It's with in walking distance to the Hot pools as well as the Olympic pool. The owners Cody and Brandon are wonderful souls, very energetic and offer a fresh vibe. To your normal local no outsiders allowed vibe. Like you have at facilities such as the Blue Moon. Very unwelcoming to outsiders. The bartender Amanda is fantastic! Very on top of it and welcoming! Lava has needed a new spot for a...
Read moreI'm sure thins place is poppin in the summer, but when my wife and I visited on Thanksgiving night it felt like getting together with your cousins and having a beer. The locals were incredibly friendly and the bartender/GM Cody was attentive, conversational, and had a great vibe. There was a local drunk making a mild scene and Cody handled it with grace and humor. Then he shared some of the local spots to soak away from the crowd. He told us the he found one of his favorite holes and fell asleep in it for a half an hour. Lol, he was a very chill dude. Advice to everyone visiting Lava Hot Springs. The locals live here because they are passionate about the lifestyle. They soak everyday and are very chill people. The pace of life is a bit slower, so be patient and...
