Almost five years ago my mom, sister, and I walked into Bella’s Bridal to find my sister a wedding dress, and I’m so glad that we did! Sandy was incredibly welcoming and kind, and helped my sister into gorgeous gown that she later walked down the aisle wearing. Sandy also found my mom the most elegant blue dress (that my mom loved, but wasn’t ready to buy). Fast forward to last year, when I called Bella’s bridal because I found my wedding dress and we wanted it altered by someone we knew and trusted. They welcomed us back in as if it were yesterday. Sandy remembered my mom, sister, and I and welcomed the two newest additions to our family, my nieces, to the fitting. She truly made us feel like we were family and that we were no trouble at all even with the toddlers wandering around the fitting room. On top of making me feel incredible in my dress, she altered my sisters dress, and my mom tried on that same blue dress, fell in love with it again and bought it for my wedding! Sandy was so patient and truly put us all at ease. I cannot begin to thank you enough Sandy, for your knowledge, suggestions(i.e. finding me the best veil ever), and the super welcoming and calm environment you create at Bella’s. I can truly say Bella‘s bridal was one of my favorite vendors through my whole wedding process. From the second you make your appointment they are so happy and excited for you and make the whole appointment very special. They have been in the business for years and know exactly what they are doing, and IT SHOWS. The appointments are private and you have all of their attention. She really works with you and listens to exactly what you want, and helps you make informed decisions about sizing, fit and other things to consider like style, shape and comfort. She’s honest but in no way harsh. They really do care about you and how you feel. The alterations process was amazing and you can tell she knew exactly what she was doing, I never felt uncomfortable or afraid to ask for anything. my dress fit me like an absolute glove and I constantly got compliments on it. Had a bad experience today. We scheduled a bridal appointment well in advance, The woman who was supposed to be helping me through the appointment was not present for more than half of the process, my mom and aunt helped me zip and clip into the dresses I tried on. She seemed overworked while she handled walk ins, and other clients while also handling me. I was very disappointed, she didn’t seem to listen to what I wanted and I ended up leaving after trying on maybe 7 dresses in 35 minutes. We werent able to pick out dresses off of a rack, she said we weren’t allowed and that she had to get what she thought I’d like… but the dresses she picked weren’t what I was looking for - even after providing inspiration photos and other descriptive ideas. Overall poor experience. If you’re local I highly suggest going to Carbonneau’s in Worcester or Elizabeth Ann’s boutique in Auburn for your wedding dress!
