Winddriven — Attraction in Lincoln City

Whether you are a beginner or a pro, this is the store for you. Hands down the best kite shop I have been into, and being obsessed with kites as a kid and living near the coast, that's a decent handful! The owner is knowledgeable, friendly, and doesn't push for a sale. He'd rather educate you and make sure you have a good time with your kite than oversell you.

When I bought my first kite from Winddriven, he gave me a whole mini tutorial on the style of kite that I was switching to that made all the difference. When I came in yesterday to get a bigger model, he talked me through the larger sizes and pros and cons to each product in comparison. I broke one of my kite strings, and not only did he have replacements for the specific kite I have, he replaced them with me to show me how to tie them on correctly. The prices were fair and the product was great. You won't find better customer service!

We came in on a Wednesday afternoon & the folks that helped my boyfriend & I were super helpful & friendly. It was a very pleasant shopping experience. They had a wonderful selection & fair prices, some even lower than I ever would've guessed. They give you free string for any kites you purchase that don't include any which is awesome, & you don't just get some chintzy line that'll snap with the first gust of wind! No, they hook you up with the string that is intended for your specific kite, & they just know that stuff off the top of their heads. They were totally cool & I'm almost certainly going to be a return customer any time I find myself near the beach. OH! They also informed us that return customers get a 10% discount on all future purchases, that's TIGHT! Thanks guys for having a quaint little kite...

It's the middle of winter, but a trip to the coast always perks you up! We hadn't been to this store before. It's small, but the selection is wide, diverse, and well priced. Flags, banners, kites (boxes, foils, traditional). Staff was friendly, what more can I say?

My ONE complaint... they close at 4pm on Saturdays! We seriously had picked out two kits for just under $100 and we jokingly said if we won money at the casino, we'd come back and buy them. Well... WE DID! So we left the casino after just a bit and ran back, to pull into the parking lot at 4:08. THEY WERE CLOSED! What a bummer! Every other shop along the way was open, but not this one. I'm afraid to say we went home (90 minutes away) and ordered the kites online...
