Altar'd State Park Meadows — Local services in Lone Tree

I have been shopping at Altr'd State for about 5 years now. I return because I enjoy the variety and atmosphere of the store. The experience I had with an employee a couple weeks ago was highly disappointing. I was looking for a long skirt and found one to try on. I knew it was a size too small so I asked if they had any other options. They handed me a completely different item that also didn't fit. The employee proceeded to tell me that I should go to Arula once they open as that would fit me better. I wear a size M-L in pants and have never had a problem with sizing. To be told I don't fit in what they had was inappropriate and degrading. This to me goes against what Altr'd state is about. A few weeks later I walked into Arula with one of my friends and that same employee was there. She did not great us, she only said I'm so glad you made your way over here. It makes me angry that someone can have that much entitlement towards a customer. I will continue shopping at Altr'd State I just think we all should realize that fat shaming in a store with such empowering values is wrong and I hope the leadership team can evaluate this and make...

I've always loved altar's state. Love the style. My first time purchasing at parkmeadows mall was a success. No problems at all, found some good sales, very nice employees, place was organized. Today was the worse experience. I came across the sales sections cuz they always have good sales. I grabbed this really beautiful white dress (marked down for $9.99), then had this 2 sets of pants for my toddler. (Marked down at $2 and some change) too good to be true but I grabbed it anyways. So anyways, went to checkout.....cashier said one of the pants were not supposed to be on sale and not supposed to be a pair because it doesn't have the tag..even though they were on the same hanger...but I said ok that's fine, people might have placed it wrong. I'll just take the other pant that has the marking of $3. ...well..turns out it was $7 dollars...so I said nvm, not buying. Then, my $9.99 dress that I loved so much, turned to be $21. So I said nvm and left. I was ok with one price marked being wrong, but all 3? When all other same clothes are marked the same price. Disappointment. Never gonna go...

Beware of some purchases as they are not returnable or exchangeable. My daughter made a purchase yesterday and decided she need a smaller size. We went back today to exchange and they did not have a smaller size. When we went to the counter to return the item we were told it had the an ending number with .88 and it is a final sale. I advised this was not disclosed during the purchase. The cashier stated they always state this during the purchase and that is it printed on the receipt. I again advised this was not told to us yesterday! Also who reads the Fine print right when the purchase is made, which would have done no good since the transaction was completed. We asked if we could have a store gift card then. The cashier turned another associate who seemed to be the manager who said very rudely the sale is final and turned away! Very unprofessional! This is unfortunate as we will not be shopping at this store in the future. We will be advising friends and family of this...
