Hispanic barber with glasses is cool, old white guy with silver hair and beard what a pathetic human being. Witnessed him pickup a phone call someone had asked if there was any barbers available, Hispanic barber was busy cutting my friends hair so the white guy asks him what time is he staying here till, the Hispanic asks for the phone so he may be able to talk to the potential client but instead the white guy asks again in a rude tone “ what time are you staying here till” Hispanic once again asks him for the phone so he can talk to potential client but then white guy angrily tells potential client that there’s no one available. Hispanic barber reasonably upset tells him that’s not cool what he did and you don’t do that to a potential client. White guy then tells him “you should have answered the question then “ in a rude tone and then puts back his airpods in and ignores him. Jesus Christ dude you’re too old to act like a child

It’s aesthetically pleasing, they do take walk-ins but by appointment is highly recommended, they offer you water or beer while/after your haircut. I did a walk-in for the first time since I’ve been passing it everyday and finally had time to check it out before work. I got a haircut like the image posted. I got my fresh cut by Danilo N. I highly recommend him. He got skills, and talks the perfect amount where it’s not awkward or too much. I will say the price might be too steep for some it was $51 (without tip). But you gotta remember it’s DTLA so it’s all pretty much high, because of the convenience and location. I think it was worth it, because it came out great. Plus your paying for one’s experience if that makes sense. Anyway go check it/him out when you need a fresh cut.

Kenneth is hands-down the best of the best when it comes to fades and haircuts! For over 11 years, he’s been my go-to barber, and every single time I leave his chair, I feel confident and fresh. Kenneth isn’t just a barber—he’s an artist. He’s incredibly patient, meticulous, and truly passionate about his craft. His attention to detail is unmatched, and when it comes to fades, he’s nothing short of a perfectionist. If you want a flawless cut that will have you looking your absolute best, Kenneth is your guy. Don’t wait—book your appointment with Kenneth Young today and experience the magic for yourself!

Wayyy overpriced for what it is. I really liked my barber personality-wise, but my beard was uneven and I had to point out every little thing that needed to be fixed. Then he took it too low which I had asked him not to do. I noticed once I got home that there was still hair on my neck that he missed. For $74 (classic cut and beard shape-up w/ razor) I expect a MASTERFUL haircut, but that's not what I got.

I have had better haircuts for $20-35. Consistently.

They're open late which is convenient for a last-minute, last resort appointment -- but I would not come back here as my main place for a haircut. My barber on the west side cuts better for $25-30 with a razor shape-up included. Also they used a shave oil product that I'm allergic to without asking me first, and now my face has been on fire for the last several hours. I'm probably gonna wake up with a rash tomorrow.

I let my barber know I was having an allergic reaction to what he put on my face and zero effort was made to discount the price of my cut, which I didn't necessarily expect but would have been appropriate. I liked him as a person but probably won't be back again...

I wish I could give zero stars but the receptionist was super sweet I had previously Booked my appointment with Richie the barber, I was 5 min early.

My friend let Richie know I was a little nervous, he takes one look at me and says "I'm not doing her hair" I said I'm fine, to which he replied "nah I'm good I'm not doing it".

I wasn't rude I wasn't loud and I don't understand what warranted had such a reaction from a complete stranger I've never met before he made me feel super unwelcome and like I did something horribly wrong. The girl at the front and another barber saw my reaction and said that they would take care of me, which they did I believe that barber's name was Rick but I could be wrong.

My point is Richie the barber was beyond unprofessional very very rude made me feel super unwelcome and like I offended him by just simply existing. I absolutely loved the Work the barber that did do his job but it was such a negative experience, no one should be treated...

If you are looking for a clean, in style, haircut in DTLA, Bolt is your best option. I moved downtown about a year ago and had my hair cut by sports clips for years. Tried Floyds, but there are too many weirdos working at the DTLA location.. Never really knew how good a haircut can be until I went to Bolt. They actually care about how your hair looks and make sure your happy with it. I have had a few peeps cut my hair at Bolt and none I would give below an 8 out of 10. I even get a straight razor on my part and neckline. Looks so clean compared to what I have been getting the last 26 years. The place is in a dope location across from Crocker and DNO. So if you feel like showing off the new cut, grab a drink on the street. I recommend Austin. He's dope and looks for the details so your walking away lookin fresh. The place is clean and if your thirsty ask for something to drink. You'll like your options. Don't be a fool and try somewhere else. ...
