I usually do not write reviews but this place was so helpful and amazing.

My 2 dogs loved it here! They ran in dragging me through the front door. They came home exhausted which helps me a lot! They love the staff. My male "Echo" is a little nervous around strangers but once he gets to know you he is a lover! He loves everyone there.

My female "Tacoma" is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met and when I have taken her to other facilities she freezes at the door. At D Pet she drug me inside.

The staff is very friendly and very attentive to the dogs. They have a lot of knowledge on the dogs and sometimes I get stuck there just talking to them about dog behavior. They are great!

It does not stink like some of the other facilities I have been to as well. And They will give you a tour of the facilities. When I shopped around at other facilities they would not allow me in certain areas. Like where the dogs sleep! I want to know where my dogs will be sleeping! So that was a huge turn off for me. D Pet allows you to see the rooms.

During the tour they answered all my questions and gave me a genuine feeling the dogs are well taken care of. The rooms are amazing they have huge glass doors so the the dogs feel like they are not being left back in a shelter or a vet. My dogs both come from a shelter and when I even drive in the parking lot of one they start to shake. There are T.Vs in each room so the dogs can watch a movie if they seem stressed.

I spoke to a young gentleman who gave me a run down on how they know each dog and all the dogs needs ( medicine, feeding, what they bring in, etc..) They seemed to have everything real organized. It was quite amazing how they knew each dog that walked through the door while I was there, by the dogs name and the owners last name. It shows they really get to know the dogs.

Some of my friends and family said im crazy for spending that kind of money on my dogs but I have left my dog at other facilities where they say $40 per night and when I pick up there are so many hidden fee's $10 for one on one time, $ 5 for a bed in the room, $10 if your dog needs medications! that is absolutely insane. So at the end of the stay you pretty much spend the same amount. Why not just leave your dog at D Pet Hotels? They get to run all day and play!

I will never leave my dog anywhere else except D Pet Hotels!

We tried D Pet Hotels a few years ago and had a great experience. So when I had to travel to Cali again, I decided to contact D Pet again in hopes for another positive experience. Well I was not disappointed! The staff is wonderful and Alissa put me at ease about leaving my elderly dog, Nina while I was away. Each "suite" is bright and clean with their own tv so your if your dog is used to tv at home, they can still catch their favorite shows while boarding! :) There were several levels of boarding and my dog stayed in a "sensational suite" with lots of room to move around, a mini sized twin bed and a tv! Alissa checked me in and couldn't have been sweeter or more reassuring. Because Nina is very old, I had to ask for specific care and her needs were met completely. I did not get any extra fees for anything and I was even sent 3 pictures of Nina on her bed being loved by one of the handlers! Honestly, I was so shocked at how happy my dog looked that I had tears as I looked at the pictures.

I called several times while I was away and I was always greeted with...everyone loves Nina..she is so sweet and is getting lots of love from the staff. When we picked her up, she came bounding out, was happy and looked like she had a great time! Most of the times after being kenneled in our home state, she would appear groggy and would literally come home and sleep for a day. When she came home after D Pet Hotels, she was happy, energetic and excited. Something I noticed is that she smelled clean and so did her bedding. Often after being kenneled in the past, she and her bed smelled like an old basement and needed cleaning ASAP but not this time!

I have written quite a lot but the bottom line is if you want a place where your dog will be clean, safe and loved while you are away, please choose D Pet Hotels. The next time I need to leave my dog, there will be no anxiety involved on my part. I know my dog will be loved and well taken care of. I also like their hours and that there is someone in the facility 24/7 in case of any kind of emergency. I paid a little more than I am used to, but honestly it was totally worth it!

I wanted to update my review today, December 29, 2024. I have now been bringing Prince my dog for many years and just last week dropped off my daughter’s beautiful adopted kitty Hiccup. I cannot say enough amazing stuff about the D pet hotel and the Extraordinary owner Josh & Staff! At pick up, Our beloved kiddos were clean, healthy & happy. Even though it was the holidays and a very busy time, they managed to send pictures every day to my daughter of her kitty because it was her first time away from home. If they ever notice any issue, they call, text, email. They take it upon themselves to do something about it. Last summer we were in Portugal & they dropped everything to take Prince to my vet in SM to follow up on a pre-DPet treatment issue. They had a hunch about something and they were right and they did all of that for me without asking for a penny- I love this place. Your dogs and/or cats are safe & happy here. Now, for my review from three years ago, no thing has changed only better…you can read on.

I have been bringing my dog Prince here for years. Everything about this place is wonderful. The staff, the ownership & facility. I usually board my dog at DPet when I go away because I know he’ll be able to play with other dogs his size all day long and be cared for and then be put into his own room with his comfortable little bed. They keep everything in order so everyone gets their own food, their own toys. They text or email pictures to let you know how your pet is doing and who is made friends with. They really do go above and beyond. Are usually have him groomed on the last day there and I think it’s reasonably priced and professionally done. One time I boarded my dog and the staff noticed that he wasn’t his usual self. They were so on top of it ..... emailing me three times a day Even suggesting I cut my trip short. When I brought him to the vet, he said I was very lucky the staff was so attentive & looking out for him! They are always there when you email or call. I trust my dog with the...
