Eighth Street Florist — Local services in Los Angeles

I am so beyond pleased with the floral decorations that Eighth Street Florist did for my wedding. Before the wedding, I had one or two meetings with the owner to go over the colour scheme and any specific requests. I brought inspiration photos and described the vibe I was going for, but left the specific flower choices up to her. (Side note: it is easier on your budget and for her if you trust her with the flower choices, especially with the floral shortage going on). The owner is very knowledgeable and honest, and can tell you what will give you the most bang for your buck. The price was reasonable and included the gold vase rentals and set up/tear down.

On the wedding day, the team was up early to set up the flower garland and aisle pieces. It was a hot day, so they had to work extra hard to mist everything and keep it fresh. One of the assistants made sure to mist my bouquet regularly and even fanned me as I was taking photos (so sweet). The owner and assistants stayed for the whole event to set up, move the garland and aisle pieces to the reception room, refresh said pieces with new flowers, and collect the vases at the end of the event (so that I didn't have to return them later). I understood the floral garland price when I saw how much labour goes into it! All the flowers really blew me away, and multiple people raved about them. I was especially touched to see the dahlias and peonies, because I know they're more expensive, and I was really just expecting normal roses. Even my husband noticed the specific flowers and especially liked my bouquet.

I would recommend Eighth Street Florist to anyone, for basic bouquets or weddings or other events. I will absolutely get all of my future flowers from them, because I know the end product will...

They took care of putting together my best friend's wedding's flowers, and were very helpful in making sure we had everything he ordered in time for the ceremony.
