update: it seems they didnt raise prices significantly ,instead the cheap fruits are gone, less variety, more importantly, i finally got documented proof they are cheating. soda pack advertised as $4.99 when buying two but at checkout they charged me $5.99 instead, $5 discount instead of $7 see receipt. and no apologies or offer or amends, i just returned them for refund..see beware at checkout, they are deceitful and dishonest with marketing and charging.
fruits and veggies are cheap but quality is so so, like grade b or c..lot of meat types but prices are not cheap and quality unsure . they have a lot of Latin food variety and drinks which is great, prices seems alright for those. finally, check prices when picking prod up and at checkout, it doesn't seem all innocent and mistakes but intentional, several prod and almost every time I go there, there are %10 or $1 higher for expensive products at checkout..I think they are misleading with prod tags to look cheaper and counting that customers won't remember the prices. that's why only 3 stars. the difference at the end is usually couple of dollars at most so I just leave it there , too much work to confront at checkout about price differences.. most other supermarkets have correct prices except once at Vons in 3rd and Vermont despite their policy to either refund difference or free , checkout black woman played dumb and just corrected price , no refund difference or...
