Make sure your tags are not expired! LAPD trolls this parking lot and TOWS anyone with expired tags! My family honestly forgot to pay it. We arrived from a 2 week trip to Italy at midnight and wandered looking for our car. Had to taxi back home and retrieve the car the next day, after DMV was open. The tow company charges $45 a day storage, so we had to pay them over $700! The staff at the lot had no idea where it was. I had randomly called LAPD and directed me to the usual towing company. Today's experience picking someone up from a cross-country flight was quite positive. They came into terminal 7 and I was able to park literally 50 ft from the door. On top of that, who knew, LAX gives away free electricity for EVs. It's not a fast charge, but at least it's something. Not all the entrances into P7 connect the rest of the parking spaces. Found out the hard way when I entered with a reservation and couldn’t find parking among the limited spaces in that section of the lot.
