After four years of living in this apartment complex, I feel compelled to share my honest experience. Let me start by saying the staff is great, I want to give a special shout out to specifically Nahkey, Everett, and Karim - are absolutely fantastic. These folks are the real MVPs of this property and consistently go above and beyond. Now, let's talk management. Stephanie, the property manager, has been a significant source of frustration. Communication is a major pain point - she insists on email communication but rarely responds.
We had an ongoing noise issues from our upstairs neighbors that never got resolved. We had filed numerous complaints and were told by management to contact security at the time of the occurence. This worked for the first or second time until security got tired of knocking on our neighbors door at 3am and stop responding to our calls. Some can say this complaint can be considered unfair housing, but we were informed by management that they couldn't help to further assist with this issue that had gone on for over 2 years.I even took matters into my own hands by installing soundproofing, only to be charged for it during move-out - despite maintenance initially suggesting it wouldn't be an issue.
We also had a storage unit break and the response was particularly disappointing. Because the lock was changed, we needed to return our old key to recieve the new one or even be allowed to see what was missing. My husband who had the old key at the time was not in LA and therefore we had to wait several days before being able to see what items had been stolen. Once we found out what was taken, management did very little to help us out.
A word of caution for potential renters: the second-floor units in Building A2 are problematic. Located next to the dog park, these units suffer from constant gnat infestations and persistent unpleasant odors. Despite claims of strict policies, enforcement seems non-existent.
Look, not everyone here is terrible. Many staff members are genuinely pleasant. But the overall management approach leaves much to be desired. If you're considering this complex, I'd strongly recommend doing your homework and understanding exactly what you're...

I recently had the pleasure of going on an apartment tour with a guy named Naki, and I must say it was the best apartment tour I've ever had. From the moment we met, Naki exuded professionalism and a genuine passion for helping me find the perfect place to live.
Naki's knowledge of the properties he showed me was impressive. He not only knew the details of each apartment but also had a deep understanding of the neighborhood, local amenities, and the housing market. It was evident that he had done his homework and was well-prepared to answer all my questions.
What truly stood out about Naki was his dedication to making sure I found a place that met all my needs and preferences. He actively listened to my requirements and tailored the tour to showcase apartments that aligned with my criteria. His patience and willingness to accommodate my specific requests made the entire experience incredibly enjoyable.
Throughout the tour, Naki's enthusiasm was infectious. He didn't just show me the apartments; he painted a vivid picture of what it would be like to live in each one. His passion for real estate was evident, and it made me feel confident that he genuinely cared about finding the right home for me.
Naki's professionalism and attention to detail continued even after the tour. He followed up with me to see if I had any additional questions or concerns. This level of service and commitment is truly commendable.
In the end, Naki's expertise, personalized approach, and unwavering dedication made this apartment hunting experience exceptional. I couldn't be happier with the service he provided, and I highly recommend Naki to anyone in search of their dream apartment. Thanks to him, I found the perfect place...
Read moreModera Hollywood is special. I lived in their sister property Modera Lofts in Jersey City so when I was in process of re-locating from New York to LA and discovered this property was being built - I knew I did not need to look any further.
The Modera brand is exceptional. The quality of the residences, the finishes, the materials, the appliances, the design, the common spaces is the best I have ever seen for a rental - and I lived in NY for 20 years. This particular property is possibly their best. The rooftop with 360 views of all of LA is ridiculous and the pool is better than most high end hotels.
The staff - specifically the property manager Stephanie Tabeau and the leasing agent Kathy Dezfoli - have gone way beyond to accommodate my move-in and any needs that have come along the way. Anyone interested must reach out to Kathy - also a former East Coaster who understands what the high end rental market is all about. They are now like family to me - truly.
The neighborhood is truly walkable and has a ton of great options for dining, entertainment and shopping. If you like urban - it has that feel which is not common for car-heavy sprawl LA. The 101 is a few blocks away and 2 metro stops which connect you to downtown, LAX (new route coming), and even Santa Monica. There is significant new investment being made in Hollywood - new developments, etc...with a very eclectic mix of residents - akin to say Brooklyn.
Please check it out - and give Kathy a call!
