Shoe Palace — Local services in Los Angeles

If I could give 0 stars I would. We are over from Scotland on holiday. Drove 2 hours to come for a specific pair of shoes from shoe palace, just to be told they’re closed… when they’re clearly within opening hours. After reading other reviews this clearly is a running theme and they just shut the store whenever they feel like it, customers and sales be damned. We are leaving the United States tomorrow morning and won’t have time to make any purchases now. Leaving the country with a sour taste in our mouths, and no new shoes. Maybe ensure the staff are aware of the opening hours as they either dont know, or don’t care. Running their own rules in there. Absolute disgrace, and I can’t iterate my distain clearly enough. American customer service is the worst in the world, or it certainly is at shoe palace! Stay clear! Or don’t… they won’t be...

Called and got the Manager who seemed suspicious because i asked for a specific employee i spoke to before. I'm a loyal customer and always make sure to request an employee I've spoken to before so they can get the proper credit for the sale. I buy alot of shoes. Anyways i wanted to check on a pair of shoes. Customer service training id definitely needed. He hung up without even saying bye or have a nice day. Pure rudeness. It seems to be a common thing even at other locations. Sometimes they don't even answer the phone. I'll take my business where it's appreciated. What made it worse is that it was the manager so the employees are just following his lead. Many of these small chains won't last through this pandemic if they don't learn to treat their customers better especially that loyal ones. I...

Everytime I go to this store they say they get new shoes well I went and they had the same ole same ole shoes. N that's because they said they got a truck of " new" shoes on a Tues n they said to come on Fri. until they finish putting them all out...I was disappointed. N it's becuz it's called " ✌️ The Shoe Department ✌️" Quote on Quote. N I bought some shoes and I took them back because the bow on the shoe wouldn't stay down. When I bought them the bow was down on one of the shoes but it was kind of standing up a bit and I thought well if I wear them it will not show. N it wouldn't stay down it like rolled up. So I got my money back. I was disappointed that this store doesn't even have a variety of dressy...
