Best bike tour we ever had, couldn’t get more local! Communications with Anthony up front were excellent, he was very responsive and quick to reply, thought along with our planned trip and had some great tips before coming to Venice. Since we were the only ones he had booked for that time we kept good contact and met up as soon as we reached Venice which was way before the official tour time. We end up spending the entire afternoon with him which was an absolute blast! He’s a true local, gave us good food tips, had lunch with us and has lots of connections, everyone seems to know him there. We casually toured throughout the neighborhood, lots of info and stories, there wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer. What we enjoyed most was nothing was scripted/rehearsed/one sided way of communicating which often happens on other tours, it was very interactive, we just cruised (no need for e-bikes, it’s all flat in this part) and walked casually and talked about all kinds of things in life. Time flew just by (even forgot to ask for a picture with the 3 of us, you belong in our upcoming photo album!). In the end we even got a surprise which is part of the tour, not gonna spoil it but it’s a nice treat!
