Six Sisters Boutique — Local services in Louisville

I love supporting small businesses and have over the years enjoyed Six Sisters Boutique and purchased from this store. Unfortunately I bought a shirt on March 1st and was told by the woman who checked me out that it was a great quality shirt. I wore it once (never washed it), and from wearing it that one time the shirt significantly pilled up. I was told when I purchased it that it was final sale, but I assumed in light of the poor quality I would be given a refund, exchange, or store credit. I went to the store on March 7th to return the shirt with my receipt. The shirt was not dirty or in poor condition beyond the pilling that can be seen in the images. A different woman working called her manager, and then told me that the shirt pilling was out of their control. I asked if there was anyone else to speak with and she told me to call on Monday. I called and spoke with the store owner, Katie. Katie told me there was no way to return the shirt since I had worn it, even once, and that they stand by the brand Z Supply and no one else had complained of the issue. She said even if they have only a few complaints a year, they cannot overstep their return/refund policy even in light of my issue. I was honest and said I would be writing a review explaining my experience to which Katie commented that it was too bad $25 would bring about a negative review. I responded that I felt the same way that it was too bad that $25 would keep them from wanting to have a satisfied customer. All in all very disappointing, but I will no longer give my business to this store in light of their unwillingness to work with me on a low quality product that they stand by more so than they do their customers. I was given an email to contact Z Supply directly, so that will be my next step that I believe will doubtfully result...

The clothes?? Dangerously good. 🛍️🔥 The kind of pieces that make you want to casually “bump into” your ex looking like a walking Instagram ad. Whether you need an outfit for brunch, date night, or just to stare at yourself in the mirror and whisper, “She’s that girl”—they've GOT you. 👏

The vibe?? Like a giant sleepover, but with better lighting and fewer questionable snack choices. The staff? So fun, so helpful, and fully ready to gas you up. They will NOT let you walk out in something that doesn’t make you feel like the main character, which, honestly? We love to see it. 💅

Edit: they do offer military discounts (did not know about the social media as I was visiting and was told there were no specials) which was nice, but maybe offer specials or a little more varied selection in prices? I didn’t see a sweater under $68. I’m willing to spend a little more for a sweater I really like, but it’s disheartening when everyone I picked up was mostly $75 and up.
