Sugar Town Vintage — Local services in Louisville

I bought one of their handmade deer keychains and within less than 24 hours of purchasing it, the little deer broke off and was lost. When I went to the shop to show them the remaining keychain ring and have it replaced, the clerk had to call the owner before they could help me, which I thought was odd. Then, they wanted me to give them the broken pieces of the keychain in order to swap it out for a new one. I specifically chose the keychain I got because of the charms. I didn't want any of the other ones, I just wanted them to replace the deer piece (or give me a whole one so I could swap it myself) but the clerk seemed sketched out by that. For $16 it wasn't worth the hassle so I ended up just leaving. I understand things happen and it was a cute shop but the quality of the items and the customer service leaves something...

I was visiting Louisville for the weekend after several recommendations on the best vintage store clothes store in the area, I made my way to Sugartown. It is in a cute neighborhood with other coffee shops, restaurants, stores, etc… The store was filled to the brim with absolute gems and decorated with the most interesting, eclectic things. They also had mystery bags that had sizes and a fun description of who might wear it. Very creative and fun. One of the owners, Blessing, is a real gem herself and was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Sugartown is the most incredible and completely curated shop we got here in the 502. You walk in and it’s as if you have stepped back in time, the babes behind the counter are all SO nice and apt to help you with your proper measurements, building a look AND they even do mending and tailoring!

Also, $15 mystery bags? Like, are you kidding?! Such an original concept and sooooooooo affordable and cuteeeee.

Keep an eye out at local markets too cuz they always bringing the fire!!!!
