Quick & easy review: It’s fabulous, make a reservation, bring a swimsuit to enjoy the sauna and steam rooms. Cruelty free. My husband and I had the couples massage and it was wonderful!

Long & detailed review: Facility & amenities - beautifully appointed, a mix of antiques with modern comfort. Perfect for a couples, friends, or wedding spa day. The layout is well thought-out and provides separate spaces for men and women to relax. I’ve been in many a spa, and appreciate the attention to detail and flow with this one. Remember to bring a swimsuit to enjoy these spaces before or after your service. The changing area provides lockers (with key), restrooms, shower, steam room, and dry sauna. Robe and slippers can be found within your locker. Water is provided.

Staff & services - the spa menu is available on the website and appointments can be made online or by calling. Marcia, at the front desk, was so personable and helped us work out add-ons. Upon arrival, you are asked to complete a form to gather additional information for the massage therapist. Shortly after, you are escorted to the changing room and instructed that you may use the facilities until a specified time. At that time you exit into a combined waiting room, to wait for your therapist. My masseuse, Amy, was fabulous and I highly recommend that you ask for her! The staff were very nice but did not have the skills they promised. Not a single one of my 6 bridesmaids hair stayed curled more than a half hour. Most of my bridesmaids luckily were skilled enough themselves to do their own hair again. Before the pictures and the festivities started. There is absolutely no reception at the spa which made the most awful difficulty with communicating with the other staffed people who were ensuring the wedding that would be mere hours later would go smoothly. It made what should be relaxing and enjoyable more difficult and extremely stressful. For $200 plus a mandatory tip of 20% a person, I expected not only a much better quality but a more prepared staff. The day before they told me they didn’t know who would be doing the hair, but at that point, of giving them 5 months notice I had no other options available on the island. I would not recommend this place for your wedding hair. Also not the biggest problem but I had requested mimosas (as was an available option they gave me) because I signed a contract saying I could not bring any food or drink. They said all they had when I arrived (again after 5/6 months of prior knowledge) that they were all out of the normal kind of sparkling wine, that I had the $50 a bottle available however(Lucky me) I told them no thanks. This salon was amazing! I had visited this salon during a bridal fair and loved it immediately! It was clean, spacious, and inviting! I knew I wanted to get ready for my wedding at this salon! Earlier in the summer I had a hair trial. Flash forward a couple months and due to the stylist who completed my hair trial no longer working at this salon they not only chose a new stylist for me, but offered a complimentary second hair trial when my makeup trial was to be completed! Isabelle was the second stylist and she did an amazing job! The hair style was a combination of pictures I showed her and how I described how I wanted to look. After the trial run hair, she took the style out and offered to curl my hair for me which was so kind. And the makeup was amazing too! It wasn't caky, fake looking, or over the top. It was the perfect bridal look! And the trial makeup and wedding day look lasted me well over 8 hours! Audra I believe was the salon front desk manager and she was so sweet! She always asked if I needed anything to drink, or if there was anything else the salon could do for me! And she made sure before I left I was completely happy with how I looked!
