Baubles & Bags — Local services in Madeira Beach

We visited the Baubles and Bags at John's Pass on 4/20/2024, and my mother bought a wallet. Today is 4/30/2024, and literally one week later ... the $32+ wallet is falling apart. I phoned the store on 4/29/2024 and spoke with a clerk. I explained the situation and offered to send her photos and/or the wallet for a refund. The clerk said, "Well, I bought a wallet from here, and it has lasted two years." I persisted, and the clerk seemed annoyed. She said, I'll have the owner call you. She didn't ask for my phone number or my email. Needless to say, I have yet to receive a phone call from the owner of the store. We won't shop at this...

Joann was the nastiest clerk I have ever had wait on me. She talked on the phone half the time we were standing at the register and completely ignored us. She then yelled at me for telling her how to make change when she couldn't do it and told us to get the heck out of the store after spending $80. She told us she was the owner after I asked who she was. I then told her she wasn't acting Christian like since she was being so nasty and wearing a cross. I purchased a purse here and when I went to use it, I found the zipper on the inside pocket was broke. (it is unfixible). Also, after a few days, I noticed I was missing items. I could feel things inside the lining of purse and found the pocket on the inside zipper had a hole in it. On emptying everything out to retrieve the items and sew the pocket, I found another hole near the top lining of the purse. I was very disappointed because, the purse is so cute, but I can't use it and I can't return it as I live in another state. :(
