All Seasons Vacation Resort — Hotel in Madeira Beach

I traded into the resort from Interval International and used the online trading option versus having a representative from II calling me with suggestions. I was given a room on the 2nd floor which is the same floor as the office. Upon entering the building, I had to search for the entrance because I didn't realize that the office is on the second floor. No clue on this from the parking lot.

The resort uses an old school key with a deadbolt lock so i was issued 2 room keys. Upon entering the room I noticed a musty smell that didn't fade. I had a side view (referred to as ocean view) of the beach which according to the management is controlled by II and cannot be modified although I tried. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms... one has a shower stall with no tub. The other bathroom has a tub with rust stains which I removed with LCR. I found a rather large cockroach on the floor of the bathroom the second day of the week. The kitchen trash receptacle doesn't fit under the sink so we placed it in a closet around the corner from the kitchen. Kind of inconvenient. The kitchen knives are dull which is typical. The dishwasher had dishes in it when we arrived. Hot water is adequate. TV in every room. Good reception and channel selection. DVD player had been unplugged and the HDMI cable was missing. This was replaced by the maintenance man Walls are paper thin as I could hear the neighbors making love even though their tv was turned up. Noisy in the morning. People are doing things near the office at 630 am most mornings and it echoes all through the hallway. As in previous statement, I can hear all that noise.

Plenty of cupboard space. Dishwasher was replaced and the floor doesn't meet up to the bottom of the dishwasher. Large gaps are present.

Opening the one kitchen drawer hits the knob of another drawer. The microwave is a counter unit and slides around when pushing the buttons.

1 Roll of paper towels and if you need more , then buy them. Other items are limited as well and I would advise you to bring clothes detergent and dryer fabric. There is a washer and dryer in the unit.

No weekly cleaning in the unit. Carpet is old. Light switches may or may not function as one thinks they should.

Lots of adds on the bulletin board regarding sales and trades of the owners units.

If the AC is running and you are on the balcony, the nose is deafening. The condenser fan is adjacent to the balcony. WiFi is available for use but is not secure. It is a user port with a sign on and as I stated, no security. The location of the complex is great because it's near a selection of restaurants and shops in the area called John's Point. The beach is beautiful and a short walk from the parking lot. The swimming pool is small and there's a few chairs provided by the resort for use. I hope this...

Accommodations were reasonable. However, the smell of bug spray was so overwhelming, we had to keep the doors and windows open for most of the stay. Prolonged periods without fresh air gave a couple family members a headache.

Staff seemed to be more than a little incompetent. Called to pay balance due a month before arrival. Provided our credit card information to a nice lady over the telephone. I called to reconfirm a couple days before we arrived and was told that everything was in order. When I arrived, they had no record of our payment. After checking our credit card account (with smartphone), it appeared that they had never billed our card. What?? Oh, well... So, they charged us for the room and all seemed to be well.

TEN DAYS after returning home, I received a call from the resort demanding that I pay the balance due of $200. Was this for damages? No. Did we check out late? No. They simply charged our card for the incorrect amount.

My son is on a travel baseball team and that team goes to Madeira Beach every year for spring training. I definitely won't be staying at this resort for the...

Everything is amazing here except two things. The rooms are warm while the main area is freezing and the beds are hard as a dang rock and creak everytime you move. If you share a bed or room with someone no one really sleeps. I woke up and my arms were numb two nights in a row from sleeping on my back. Verh difficult to get to sleep because the beds are terrible. But, if you like firm beds then this place is for you! Its right on the beach, pool and hot tub, full kitchen with pots and pans, silverware and plates etc. Its a really nice place. Good location and very clean. Lovely little village John's Pass but no groceries or anything like that within walking distance. 2 hours from Disney and Universal Studios. I look forward to coming here every year. Be warned though, the decor is straight old people city, but in a good way....
