Gray Jewelers — Local services in Madeira Beach

After researching the location of my nearest kameleon jewelry collection dealer online, I decided to visit this store. I have started my own collection of this lovely product and intended to add substantially to it before leaving the US from my yearly stay there. I am disgusted to report the worst encounter in my life with a jeweler's salesperson. A stocky blond woman came to the counter when I asked for the whereabouts of the collection and proceeded to behave in the most condescending and arrogant manner possible. Her body language was extremely cold and her answers to my questions clearly were meant to demean my intelligence in asking them. I can't swear to the reason for her behavior but instinctively felt that since I started asking about the lower priced items to start, then she assumed I would not be worth her efforts. Well she couldn't have been more wrong and I walked away with a substantial gift in my pocket to spend with a dealer somewhat farther away from my home. This was my first and last experience with this jeweler and in parting ways recommend that they try to hire salespeople who have interpersonal skills which will enhance their sales rather than send them to their competitors. This person does not belong in sales or in any position that requires her to relate to the public or service anyone's needs. I wish I could give this store zero stars. My daughter and I went in yesterday (4/2) because she wanted to buy a gold necklace. The manager and the store clearly discriminate and refuse to let people with disabilities shop at their store. I explained to her that she was in violation of the ADA. She said she didn’t care, it was her store and could do whatever she wants. It is a shame that discrimination continues to exist in today’s world. I would highly recommend not giving them your business and spread the word about the horrible way they operate...

This amazing store is full of treasures. The prices are fair and the staff has always been exceedingly helpful. We have found beautiful and unique gifts here and look forward to returning. Gray’s has things we can’t find elsewhere. I especially like their collection of bags and leather key fobs. The earrings and jewelry are also great. The staff has gone out of their way to even offer to wrap things safely for travel, and ship items if we called in to the store.
