I'm writing in regards to what was most likely the worst dining experience I've ever experienced. I'm a regular patron of Hooters, whether dining out, or ordering take out and I have never received such POOR service. I had a party of 5, and we had Brielle as a server. Her "greeting" was "Does anyone want anything other than water?" There was no "hello I'm brielle and I'll be serving you tonight, or what would you like to drink?" She eventually returned with our waters and the 2 soft drinks (none of which were ever refilled). We ordered our appetizer, and our meals. With the exception of 1 meal, all came out wrong, and the appetizer didn't come out at all until the regular food was delivered. We sat down at 7:30, and our food wasn't brought until almost an hour later. Never once did she stop by and apologize for the wait. As a matter of fact, I tried getting her attention, and she ignored me and turned around and went back into the restaurant, where I followed her and asked where the appetizer was. To which she replied "I'll check on it." Minutes later the food was delivered by another server. Brielle never stopped by to check the food. We were nearly finished when she came back. I told her we were missing our basket of fries, jalepeno cheddar, a side of jalepenos and coleslaw. My order was supposed to come with tots and I was given fries. We told her considering we finished our meals, we didn't want those items and didn't want to pay for them. After waiting for the manager to remove the items, he came over and provided some terrible excuse, and said he removed a burger from the bill. This was a nice gesture, however with a split bill, didn't help the rest of us. I still paid for a side of fries that we never received, and Brielle never apologized for her part in the mix up. I understand the kitchen can mess up, however the kitchen mess ups were insignificant to the apathy and bad service from Brielle. I live in St. Pete and had family visiting from Ohio, we drove 35 minutes to this specific location instead of the closer restaurant because of the view, and positive experiences in the past. This experience was terrible. I'm not sure Brielle is cut out for serving, as I heard the manager comping food for the table next to us as they were receiving bad service from her as well. I certainly hope there is some sort of corrective action, as this was truly a...
Read moreOver all experience: Amazing an one I will never forget.
Food: It was great an amazing as always.
Service: This is the reason for my whole review. I came in just as you all opened it was a little over a week ago. We had a party of 15 that turned into 20. Our server was Christina but with an unusual spelling. She was very friendly an upbeat. She greeted us with a genuine smile an let us know that it was only cash as the credit card machine was down. She took the time to make sure all our orders were correct before going to place them. We had 4 young kids that she made sure felt just as welcome an happy as the adults. Our food an drinks all came out in great time an we never ran low an she was quick to refill an re-order any adult beverages. At the end we all recieved our separate checks she was kind to let us know that grat was added (most girls do not tell you, hoping you wont notice. We tipped extra for her because of the amazing service) she left personal notes all different on each check. She was so outgoing an made jokes with us an everyone left more than happy with out experience. I am a business owner, before I left I pulled her to the side offering her a job as a manager at my place of business. Without any hesitation this young girl simply said thank you but no, I asked why seeing as I was offering her a great salary opportunity. She replied " As much as that would help her in life seeing as she is a single mom with no actual home showering an crashing at friends an families homes, that this was more than just a job to her, that hooters gave her a place she is happy to come to everyday, while she may struggle she loves the company an all they do. That she has hopes to not be a server for long but to grow within in the company that has given her the faith an strength to become independent". I will never forget the experience we had at this hooters an I hope that if she does not grow with the company as she plans she comes to work for me. She has ambition an has great leadership written all over her. We will continue to come back to this location for the beautiful view amazing food an most of all to see this...
Read moreOn vacation and was craving some fried pickles and shrimp! This was the absolute worst decision of the entire trip! 1st it took forever to be acknowledged! I had to ask a server as they were passing by us! The bartender looked at us several times without even acknowledging our presence! It actually took 10 minutes for the bartender/server to come and acknowledge us that was after we asked the floor server. It took 30 -45 minutes to receive our order. The bartender/ server was not friendly or her personality was the worst I’ve ever experienced at any Hooters restaurant. The fried pickles were not cooked thoroughly, lacked normal amount of seasoning and were skimpy on the portion which didn’t matter because they were not ate! One pickle and taste was enough to make you gage! The French fries and the b.shrimp were good. There were only 5-6 other individuals at the bar it wasn’t like she was overly busy ( if so I could have understood) it appeared as if she was more interested in stocking or attempting to prepare the station to leave at end of shift. I really regret tipping for bad service and awful pickles! I sincerely hope mgmt. will find a way to improve food quality, hospitality and fix the incorrect food portions! In this economy it’s not a great feeling to pay good money for lousy service and bad food. My order was placed at the bar to go! If I had tasted it before leaving I would’ve asked for a manager and sent fried pickles back! My son who goes to Hooters back home commented that they were nothing like the ones at our home state! Normally Hooters pickles are like that potato chips that you can’t eat just 1! 0 stars experience not busy at all Time of visit: 7-8 pm on Wednesday Didn’t receive a receipt Payment- card Also online stated location closed & no order ahead 1st bad experience & review for Hooters in my lifetime
