I went to this place to have a coffee with my family the barista a Cuban lady was totally out of the line I ordered a caramel macchiato a donuts and two cappuccino then the barista asked cold or hot honestly I could not understand in that moment what she said then she screamed (frío o caliente)in Spanish which is cold or hot my family was there in particular my wife was shocked with the barista attitude but we moved forward then the barista prepared one cappuccino instead of two, well we explained her it was two cappuccino and she said you asked only one then politely I told my wife we probably make a mistake let's see the our order paper it was only one on the order ,finally the barista gave us a second cappuccino then I told her well I will pay you it is fine with me but she insisted not it is on me well this barista was really nice with the other customers who were there but not wit my and my family buying 4 coffes and donuts.I am not sensitive person but my family felt really bad I don't want preferences just a good customers service even this person tried to amend what she did to my family but she ruined the entire coffee experience honestly it was a shame because all the stores and restaurants I visited in Madeira beach it was an amazing experience they have lovely waitress and nice bussines owner they all have an outstanding customer service but this lady even she tried to be nice asking me about me and my family it was terrible...
Read moreThe La Dolce Vita Cafe in John’s Pass Village in Madeira Beach FL is the perfect place to start you day or get a pick me up at any time. The owner’s Brooklyn accent immediately let me know that my Everything Bagel would be excellent. He told me that he has them shipped in daily. I had bacon, egg and cheese on my breakfast sandwich and it was hot, soft and delicious. We were able to sit outside in the shade while eating and sipping our lattes.
The counters, tables and service areas were all clean and re-cleaned while we waited. Service was quick and friendly. The woman at the counter was patient while we made our selections and very helpful when we had questions.
The La Dolce Vita Cafe offers a full coffee service with flavors and styles to satisfy every coffee aficionado. In addition to coffee there is an outstanding selection of fresh baked pastries. Parking is an issue as it is a resort area. Expect to park somewhere, walk and shop as your make your...

I got the croissant sandwich and my other half got a bagel sandwich - they were “ok” for $6. Great for a quick bite before walking around the shops.
The worst part was the girl at the counter- she seemed pretty clueless or friendly…she didn’t seem to understand or know answers to simple questions (like what kind of cheese do you have?) where the “adult” (owner?) stepped in. I get working in a busy tourist spot kinda sucks (been there done that) but here is a hint young unfriendly server girl - put a smile on your face and make an attempt to be friendly (or perhaps get a job not working with the public)… it makes for a poor impression on your employer’s business. The owner was helpful and friendly and based on other reviews it seems my...
