Anthology — Local services in Madison

Best stationary store in Madison! I had been looking high and low for postcards and couldn't find any anywhere. Then I dropped by this place, and in addition to a bunch of other adorable and practical stationary items, I found an absolute wealth of both Madison postcards and others. They range from a picture of the State Capitol, to "Eatings from Madison" with drawings of local food, to random cards with cute cats that make very random cat-related statements such as, "Cats have nine lives," or "Curiosity killed the cat," with NO explanation on why they said this, other than some writing in Chinese....

This is an amazing local business––I don't know why, but I thought it was a chain store. I was very wrong! I go in there mostly to buy beautiful sheets of paper (wrapping paper, some handcrafted)... similar to what the chain store Papyrus sells, but much more reasonably priced and with an amazing selection. The store is full of other delightful items, definitely a cool place to buy supplies for crafts, or Wisconsin-themed gift items, or seriously hilarious original refrigerator magnets, or handmade political...

This is a store that has bailed me out for gift giving on multiple occasions. Their offerings are unique, personal and beautiful. There’s great decorations that highlight local flair, along with others that show the beauty of nature. There is a large selection of journaling products including Field Notes. When you head upstairs you are greeted with art supplies galore.
