A visit to the coast is simply not complete without a stop at The Winery at Manzanita. I consider myself to be a bit of a savant when it comes to all things food, wine, and dogs. My first time here, I quickly fell in love with the friendly & knowledgeable staff, coastal ambience, beautifully crafted wines, and of course Pinot the black lab himself! Wine: The menu features a wide variety of whites & reds, with definitely "something for everyone". My favorites are the Blanc De Noir, Pinot Noir Rosé, Pinot Gris, Syrah, & Merlot. Start with a flight and go from there. The grapes and grown locally in the PNW and processed right at the winery. Good things come in small batches :) Food: Charcuterie on point- Rogue River Blue, Mt Tam, and Olympia Provisions... seriously doesn't get better than that. Do not miss out on the truffle popcorn. Ambience: It's 3 blocks from the water. Sunset views. Dogs, friendly humans, fire pits, and a big awning for those gloomy coastal days. Doesn't get better. Price: I'm a firm believer in "You get what you pay for." This wine is the real deal & you can taste the difference. All that being said, I find the glass & bottle prices to be fair. Can't wait till we go back!

+ Spectacular service. Very helpful, accommodating, welcoming, and professional. Didn’t catch our servers name, but he’s from N. Carolina + Beautiful, open, bright space. The amenities and layout is very well thought with the customer in mind. There are lots of power outlets for charging devices and even blankets in case you get chilly. + Child friendly! As a new parent, I’m always looking for places I can enjoy a glass of wine or beer with a newborn. This place even has a children’s nook. + Dog friendly!! This is obvious but this establishment more than welcomed your furry friends. + Great wine menu and delicious, high quality bites. The menu isn’t extensive, but you can definitely find something to satisfy your hunger/drunchies. + Fantastic outdoor dining area with fire pits. There is even an upper decker that has great views of Manzanita Overall, we really enjoyed our overall experience. Prices are pretty steep but you definitely benefit from the quality, service, and ambiance. So “TREAT YO’SELF” - Parks & Rec

Stopped by on a sunny Friday afternoon to taste and enjoy the weather. Most of the front area was full & the upper deck does not open until later in the year, depending on availability of staff. We sat just inside one of the roll up doors (which got opened a bit after we arrived) & enjoyed our wine flights. The building faces the Main Street that runs through town and parking is on the street. Service was friendly and prompt even though it got busier and our host was great at keeping an eye on us. We ordered some food and additional glasses and sat back to enjoy. They have a very broad selection of wines and will be opening a new tasting room in Slabtown ( in our building) in the next month or so. Overall it was a great experience! Update from July 31, 2023 Stopped by on another sunny but breezy day and sat upstairs for the first time. Again the service was spot on as were the wines. We both had different flights and enjoyed everything we tasted! Stop by and enjoy this gem in the heart of Manzanita Beach!

Make sure to stop by here if you would like rude and condescending service.

Response to the Owner: Unfortunately it sounds like you had multiple problems yesterday. The description of the party below was not our group. My party is aware of the COVID rules and regulations. Our entire party did wait in line (all together) understanding that the winery was seating by party size and first come first serve. We did have a party of 7 people. Knowing that we were prepared and had already decided how we would be divided into two parties before it was our turn at the hostess stand. Perhaps the server already experienced the party you described below because she walked up annoyed. I told her we had 7 and we understood that we would have to seperate. She rudely responsed "You will have to continue to wait because parties more than 6 are against the law". I repeated myself by explaining that we were happy to be two different parties. She continued to be rude and short with us as she explained how the COVID rules work. After being belittled and scolded infront of the other guests. We decided not to wait for two different tables and returned to our beach house (that we own, we means we are part time locals) and enjoyed wine we bought in town instead. We never entered the winery, or attempted to go upstairs. As we walked to our car that was parked infront of the winery we heard the her announce to the party that had behind us in line "Would be nice if people followed the rules....don't go out with more than 6!" Her comments and behavior were uncalled for. We were not rude in response to her, we did not argue with her, as mature adults we walked away. I am sure you can tell by my other google reviews, I am not quick to complain. I would rather upleft a business with positive reviews and support. However after our experience yesterday I felt the need to share. If I owned a business, I would want someone to tell me. Hope this review helps you recognize that you have growth and staff development opportunity. COVID is hard on everyone, but it's not an excuse for...

This review is more for the owners of this fine establishment than for other customers. Your place is adorable, and clearly a need for something of this caliber in the area. It definitely reminded us of places in Denver (where we are from) and we too have a place in our hearts for Hawaii (the Mana wines are sensational). So here are our thoughts...while we were there we decided to do smores(awesome concept, poor execution). The lady at the bar dug through containers and plastic baggies and slapped the makings of a smore on a plate. For $5(for one smore) I could have done without knowing you keep your ingredients in empty ice cream buckets. Instead, how about storing them in cute glass jars behind the bar so customers can see flavors of smellows and grahams?! Originally we were thinking of doing dinner here the next day, but unfortunately after I saw how you presented the s'mores I wondered how you would present sandwiches and salads. I say get rid of the food (except for smores and small apps) and maybe have an agreement with other establishments that you can bring their food in to the winery or even better have it on your menu and those places could deliver for a small fee) These are just thoughts coming from a big city girl who wants to see your business successful! We will of course be back next year, your wine is amazing and so is...

Atrocious customer service. Very shocked by the lack of respect we were treated with by the server (12pm upper deck on 5/8). The hostess who seated us did not tell us to sit only on one side of the table because the other side would be a separate party, she said nothing at all and simply handed us menus. The server who came to the table treated us like absolute garbage because we were not aware of the rules, which were not relayed to us or posted via signage, and continued this rude behavior throughout the stay visible through sub quality care. We honestly should have walked out and I am not sure in retrospect why we didn’t. We will never return. We were treated terribly. It’s been less than 12 hours since then and have already spread the word to several others and will continue to do so. Absolutely disgusting.

Edit on 8/6 - to anyone who cares the response below from the owner is a complete fabrication. I live in Washington, never Montana. Never mentioned Montana. I have worked in Public Health for the last 16 years. I follow Covid precautions and am well aware of the requirements for both the state or Oregon and Washington. This concern was poorly investigated and the response meant to cover up the the inadequacies in their abrasive staff member who...
